when did you go? i purchased some maybe a month ago?
That may explain why drugstore.com no longer sells it and my local Walgreens was out of stock... I'm interested in hearing a solution too!
I know other people are saying they can get it in their area, but all of my stores are sold out..
Are there any online retailers?

i dont understand why people say its banned... no where proves this.
i literally walked into walmart, cvs, and walgreens... asked the pharmacists and they do still have it, quite pricey at 14 a box, but still

Difference in location man.. Maybe Penn has a different law than Indiana. I have looked multiple places and called pharmacies and all say that they no longer carry any bronchial dilators without a prescription.. So no ephedrine :(
I have not found any reason to believe it is not available. There is one document that is from WV and not even a government document, and the mention is an afterthought about the phase out of CFC products. I can't find anything on the FDA website that mentions it at all.
I am intrigued by this. I have not heard a peep out of any pharmacy I have been in within the last year.
Imports for Personal Use
CMEA amended 21 U.S.C. 844 to make it unlawful for a person to knowingly purchase at retail more than 9 grams of ephedrine base, pseudoephedrine base, or phenylpropanolamine base in a scheduled listed chemical product in a 30-day period and further stated that no more than 7.5 grams of the 9 grams of each chemical may be imported by means of shipping through a private or commercial carrier or the Postal Service. Imports for personal use below these quantities are not subject to import quota requirements. Any person who wishes to import more than 7.5 grams of each of the chemicals in a 30-day period would have to register as an importer and obtain an import quota.
I live in PA, i always get refused bronkaid by the pharmacist even though I am a nurse and able to talk to them about it on there level for why I use it; exercise/allergy induced asthma. Its such a struggle to get.. went to 4 places.. 3 were sold out and i had a damn coupon for 2 bucks off! last place i tried, walmart. They had 60ct and 24ct boxes.. they refused to sell it to me... im 23 lol. Have not bought it in 4-5 months. I constantly bugged them about why, they wouldn't tell me just told me it is there right to deny a sale. Finally settled on selling me 1, 24ct box. Would not give me a 60ct.
50mg bronkaid, i feel nothing really.. def no jitters. I bought primintine at cvs there brand, 12.5mg, i was shaking. Same way I feel when I buy bulk ephedrine hcl from canada. IMO, bronkaid is way underdosed of the sulfate sucks compared to hcl. 50mg feel nothing, 12.5 am shaking.. hmm

This is why I always get Primatene anyway. Got some last night. Out of curiosity, I asked the dude about Bronkaid and he said they don't have any confirmation that it is discontinued but they haven't gotten any in forever. Could be a supply problem?
My local Walgreens told me that they weren't carrying Bronkaid anymore so I asked to see the Walgreens generic brand.
Walgreens Bronchial Asthma Relief
Ephedrine HCL USP 12.5mg
Guaifenesin USP 200mg
and like $3 cheaper.....

It's ****ing sad when I can get Clen easier then Bronkaid lol
Canada.
You guys buy some bulk and I'll send it to you from Canada, the pure 8mg ephedrine 50 tabs
12.5 mg Ephedrine HCL from Walgreens generic or 25 mg Ephedrine from Bronkaid? Generic is about 2 bucks cheaper but I was just curious as to what the difference would be.
I can walk into Wal-Mart and pick up 60ct Primatene for about $10 as long as I produce my ID and don't a box every single day.
Tired two CVS stores today, no dice. I ordered 600 8mg tabs of HCL from a Canadian online store I hope I get it. I guess we all can thank the FDA and our local Meth Labs.

HCL is slightly more bioavailable than sulfate (Bronkaid). Not enough of a difference to get worked up about, but if the HCL is cheaper, go that route for sure.
Just got 2 boxes yesterday. They don't carry it on stock but they ordered it for me. Ask if they will order it for you.
GNC has it OTC. 50-8mg tabs for 6.99 or 7.99. However they do not have it out or advertise it. You have to request it.

I'm guessing this is not available at GNC's nationwide. Franchise stores may be selling it out of the back room; however, there's no way corporate stores would take that kind of risk.

They can not refuse to sell it to you. I have never heard of such nonsense. It doesn't require an RX or a conversation with the friggin clerk. What is their reason for not selling it to you?
Nobody seems to know what is going on. I emaile Bayer and they insist it is still being manufactured. In PA it can not be found anywhere. One pharmacist tells me it's banned; another will tell me it's just on back order. Nobody knows! I'm fairly certain it had something to do with the inhaler phase out. It's annoying.

Of course they can, other than in an emergency, a pharmacist can refuse to dispense just about anything, and that goes for over the counter products located behind the counter as well. The laws vary in different states but don't think that just because you show up with cash in hand and a smile on your face that they HAVE to sell you anything. If a complaint is filed, the pharmacist can simply say that you looked like a potential crackhead and there was a chance that you may abuse the product or were buying it for off-label uses.......end of story.
