What's the difference between Omega 3 and 3-6-9

Why do people insist on taking Omega 3's?

Isn't 3-6-9 much better?

Is there any distinct disadvantages taking Omega 3 rather than Omega 3-6-9?

Or is it just the cost?

we already get plenty of omega 6s and 9s from any food we eat.

I see, how much EPA & DHA would you suggest to consume a day? I have found triple strength Omega 3's, 330 EPA & 220 DHA so I was thinking of taking 2 capsules a day.... which would give me 1100mg of EPA&DHA....

According to that calculator I require 1650mg of EPA&DHA.... so that's 3 capsules of my supplement!
