Mr. Pennsylvania 2012 NPC Training Starts Now. Philly Represent!
I've officially adopted the competition mindset. this will be my first show. I cannot compete this year, i am nowhere close. However, 12 months from now i will be ready. The comp is held in June. I figured I would start a journal now. I know yall love picture so here you go:
My current state. I was cutting then realized i need to bulk if i want a legitimate change to win:

my plan is to bulk to 220-230 eating 3000 cals to start then increasing by 500 cals every 4 weeks over a period of 28 weeks. I will be training strength for the first 8 weeks. my macros will look something like [b]50% carbs 40% protein 10%fat[/b]
I will begin contest prep approx 20 weeks before show date cutting cals by 200 approx every 2 weeks. cardio will begin with 30 minute sessions daily adding 10 minutes approx every 4 weeks. i will also be enlisting the help of a pro NPC coach (who i will be naming later) at the start of my contest prep.
