New Morning Drink
Hey guys,
I am in touch with a beverage manufacture and I am in currently in the process of finishing a new canned drink which will contain Coffee (regular and decaf), protein (20g per serving), and daily vitamins. These will come in 16 oz cans and current estimates are each can will sell for about $1.50-$2.00 bucks retail. Drink will be low calories, under 150 calories and will taste delicious.
The idea behind this is to formulate a drink that would be a perfect breakfast or snack drink for those who love coffee. Currently there aren't very many protein shakes out there on the market for retail and certainly none with coffee and essential vitamins.
Thought I ask for people?s opinions on this idea, good or bad, new flavors, new ingredients to add in, anything else...

They contain some but not all of the essentials. Ideas have been throw out there by some of the people I talked to of maybe adding ingredients that promote fat loss or energy as well.

I assume this would be a room temp drink?

im going to guess itll taste bad.

a coffee-protein drink? sounds disgusting...no offense.

Yea it can be at room temp or chilled...I personally have mixed coffee shakes in the morning with protein and tastes quite good. Protein themselves can be bought with vanilla or chocolate and can be mixed in with coffee to create a latte taste.

To be frank with you, that doesnt sound like something I would buy. I like a good cup of coffee and anything that comes in a can and says its coffee flavored tastes like ass IMO.

Hmm. I'll have to give this protein-coffee mixture a try tomorrow morning.

I would just make my own coffee and add my own protein. As for the vitamins and minerals - I already take a multi-vitamin. So no, I wouldn't buy.
