Wear a t-shirt
for all those people who always wear singlets ( i do), start wearing a tshirt for about a week or two and then again wear a singlet after this period and youll be amazed how much better you look and itll give you motivation to train harder...... works for me anyway
-
do you wear a singlet when you are lifting?
-
wut the hell is a singlet?
-

-
I don't even own a singlet, or any t shirt that shows too much arm
-
I wrestled...if I remember this right....My singlet was a one piece garment that you step into with a tank top ...personally I wouldn't wear this to workout...First ...I probably be laughed out of the gym....Second....it shows everything even duh nuts and twig....Nahhhhh No Thanks....Self

lol yeah i think this guy misunderstands^^ rep for aussie man yeah i know what you mean same goes for new places you go, like at school we always had to wear a shirt then on weekends you get a tonne of attention from girls who are like "oh i didnt know you worked out" feels good feed the ego

haha yeah maybe i should have use the work singlet aye.
yeah thats exactly right mate. repped back

lol I was lost on the "singlet" as well.
But for me, I wear white undershirts all the time. Makes my chest look good and hides the remaining fat I still have. Probably my favorite piece of clothing. lol
-
When I started my cut/serious nutrition and lifting phase I always worked out in white t-shirts. I recently started wearing cut offs and it's just insane how I can see both the progress I've made and how much work is left still, double motivation.
-
haha ok thanks for interpretting. i was confused as singlets are wrestling outfits here... i was a little confused.
-
I train in my black "singlet" all the time now. LOL
I don't notice my gains but others at my gym do. I find it confortable to train in.
Once I get more lean I'll get me some "Y-back or T-back" tanks, there you go!
-
Hmm I'm in two minds about this. On one hand I can see how not seeing your body every day would make the gains look more impressive when you do eventually take a look. But on the other hand, and call it a bit vain, but I like to see my muscles contracting when I lift weights. It shows I'm doing it right and also I get a bit of an ego boost which pushes me a bit harder!

After a year training in shirts the other day I forgot my shirt so I had to wear a singlet.
I was doing bent over barbell rows I looked up in the mirror :o it was freaky. Good for a confidence boost!
Lol at singlet thing. I'll keep my reps for Sydney guys. Jks.
-
Hey those of us with New Zealand ties call them singlets too mate!
-
I train in a tank! my motivation is seeing myself in the mirror with a sick pump.. id probably feel lazy if i went in with a t-shirt on... definitely worth a consideration when i get too fat to see vascularity someday, lol
