it is a 2.5% tax on medical devices.
Okay first off, it's 2.3% as stated clearly in the 2nd link, and secondly I was expecting folks to open up debating it a bit...cause to me it just seems like O is taxing the middle class/working class in a way they won't necessarily see as taxation.

Listen, I love to hate on Obama but this is not just focused on the middle class/working class.

Yeah it even says the manufacturer is responsible for reporting and paying, not the individual consumer.
He's targeting the sales boys making 500k+, medical device is the next notch down following investment brokers.
He tried the same tricks by attempting to bring down the big ole muni brokers by eliminating the 100% tax free status by implementing a cap at 28%, but we fought it and of course won.

Srs?
1. You posted totals. Davis has played in 11 fewer games. Disingenuous comparison is disingenuous.
2. Compare Noah's first year with Davis and then get back to me.
3. ???
4. WhyTF do I even bother? :(

I didn't want to shine a light on the fact that your guy was injured immediately when trying to play the first few games with the big boys.

The comparison keeps shifting down the line of getting more and more generous, yet I still comply..
..for the lulz of what the next comparison might be.

Take note of how you never answered my question after I posted it three times.
Also, do you really not understand how it's misleading to post only the totals when the number of games played was so different?

Do you guys have good cans?
You should totally buy SkyWorld by Two Steps From Hell, place the cans on your earholes, and play the track at a substantial volume.
Optional: Include a large amount of red wine into your bloodstream prior to this event.
Reward: 50,000 EXP

Clean grip is the common name for it.
Lemme pass on a little wisdom about America bro. There is NOTHING, I mean NOTHING united about us. You get it in the ass and you're on you own apparently. Right after the World Trade buildings were attacked I worked up there with Benny searching for anything, we found a few live, mostly parts of bodies. That was the ONLY time doing SAR work that I felt like I was a part of a team. It takes something dramatic to band Americans together like that. Natural disasters, people don't give 2 rats asses about, goddamn sad.
I wrote a paper in my junior year of high school about it. The terrorists that took down the WTC did more to unite our country than anyone else in the past 4-5 decades. Everyone got all patriotic and unified, but after a couple of months, they were back to normal. A shame.
-
...did more to unite our country than anyone else in the past 4-5 decades.
Considering that 50 years from 2001 takes us back to 1951, and that in the period between 1951 and 2001 there was a decade known as the "60s", I am somewhat curious how you defined or measured "unite" in the quoted sentence.

Ohp, my bad. Last 3-4 decades.
Aside: I'm surprised we haven't seen TAAB post this:

Re the aside: The Romo and Manning part was good, but Vick?
I mean really? When are people going to wake up to the fact that Vick is NEVER going to deliver?

Well you see, I used census data for all regions in the US, from national level to municipal.
It wasn't a senior thesis i wrote. It was a simple essay. THe overall feeling/vibe of America is what i based it on. People had this proud to be an american, let's enlist and fight for our country, let's look out for each other outlook. As opposed to the "let's spit in the faces of all of the returning veterans" outlook from a few decades prior.
+ I bet without the towers falling, there wouldn't be any sort of story about Pat Tillman, as I'm sure he would've been just as content to pass up a chance to enter the service and just take the NFL contract.

Are you saying there was a general sense of unity during the 60's?
-
Are you saying there was a general sense of unity during the 60's?
America became increasingly united against the Viet Nam war, with the new "hippie generation" cultural movement having a broad impact on people from all walks of life. In fact, ending the war was a part of both McGovern and Nixon's platforms, as well as Mcarthy's.
