I don't suggest you to. The pecs are big muscles in your body and the bigger they are, the more time you need to give them rest. They are repairing right now even if you don't feel it. When you sleep, the muscle repairs itself more efficiently, so you need rest. Don't overwork them. You can work abs twice in a row though since they are smaller muscles.
No.
Aight thanks

Once again a dumbass teen talking out of his unknowledgable ass. Working chest twice in a row is not bad, and actually can be very beneficial. High volume lower intensity such as programs like sheiko. Of course you can't do these programs for more than 3-4 weeks, but knowing how to periodize your yearly routine is crucial.
No.
Teens like you are rediculous who think there is only 1 correct method of training.

Oh shut the **** up, it's better to just do a higher intensity workout once or twice a week for your chest than to work it out for two days in a row, don't go around calling people dumbasses when he's quite right.
Yes, you have a point, it can be beneficial, but most don't end up doing it correctly and it's not like it will revolutionize your life if you do it.

he may be rediculous but training chest 2 days in a row isn't

Teens like you are rediculous for making general assumptions. Grow up, and don't try to talk to me like I'm some dumbass ****.
You do what works for you, and when I've been doing this for maybe close to the time that you have we'll check out who got better results in that time scale yeah?
he may be rediculous but training chest 2 days in a row isn't
yes it is.

Its teens like you that make the teen section at BB.com unbearable. We are entitled to our own opinions...don't go around calling other people dumbasses because they don't agree with your ass. And I didn't pull it out of my ass... questions like these are often and most people don't suggest working the chest twice in a row. Piece of ****.

Your simply jumping on the teen band wagon of shut up and squat. Its actual teens like me who can provide some actual factual and good advice. My knowledge comes from readings articles and talking to much more knowledgable poeple like john prophet and learning new methodologies.

the 48 hours part..I've heard alot, but I read over my post and was **** that sounded stupid. If this helps:
Yesterdays workout: setsxreps
BB Bench 4x8
DB incline bench 3x8
DB bench 3x10
Dips 3x15
Tricep Extensions 3x10
Push-ups 3x20
yes it is.
O really snake? You care to elaborate? Certain circumstances merit chest twice in a row.

No he's not, you're awfully presumptious.
You do what works for you yeah, but don't try and disregard other peoples opinions. It's better to do a high intensity work out and only work your chest once or twice a week with about 72 hours rest at least between both work outs, rather than two work outs over a two day period.
That's a bloody fact, if it wasn't than bodybuilders wouldn't be doing 5 day split routines. We'd have like 10 hour split routines or something haha.
yea a lot of power lifters do programs where they press (they dont call it a chest day, by the way) 3-4 times a week with intensity modulation, but this kid is likely just goign to bench heavy today and bench heavy tomorrow

probably armykid. I'm just pointing out that targeting chest twice in a row if you know what your doing isn't bad. You actual visit the PL section instead of this rediculous section.

Hmmm... if thats so whats your explanation for the sheiko and smolov program? Your basing all your conclusion on linear periodization. Dual periodisation is where you overreach for a longer period of time, thus yeilding bigger gains when you recover later. Of course you probably don't know what this is.
Not saying either method is better than the other. Just saying there are multiple methods for working out. Each method has its place during the year.

lol..actually I change my workouts up everytime. I do one day heavy, next day light and vary my sets. I like that name..you in the army? I'm guessing JROTC?

Actually thats a very efficient way to do it. Heavy day and light day the same week. I'm just saying you could do light days with high volume for a few weeks like 4 times, and u may make some good gains.

Sorry, but i had to reply. You are trying to act pretty hard by calling someone a teen when you are only 17...and quit trying to use big words when you consecutively misspelled "ridiculous" wrong 7 times in a row.
