288
48/2=24
9+3=12
combine...
24x12=288
inb4 15+ page thread
2. WTF is they stupid?
Is they stupid....Engrish much?
let's just wrap parentheses everywhere
(48) / (2) * (9+3)
= (48) / (2) * (12)
= 48 / 2 * 12
= 24 * 12
= 288
its 2.
2, too.
you are correct
Ironically this isn't really debatable
2(9+3) = 24
48/24
= 2
ur parents mad op?
Pemdas says 2
are you motherfukcing retarded?

Even though you're red I'll respond.
A) Fail troll
B) All depends if the 12 is times 48 or times 2. cus it could be like (48/2)*12 or 48/(2*12)
bye.
2(9+3) = 24
48/24
= 2

not my parents...but if you compute it on wolfram alpha it'll say 288...

LOLWUT
It's 288 - google: order of operations
(48/2)*(9+3)=288
48/(2*(9+3)=2
All about OOP, it's not clearly identified which comes first.
BEDMAS
its 2
its 2.
Ive never heard of pemdas, but i used BEDMAS, brackets first so you have
48/2(12)
= 48/24
=2
[B]its 288, cant believe people think its 2
edit: wow 1rd page on an epic thread, oh and join 288 crew

order of operations states it is 48/24 so you actually fail
not my parents...but if you compute it on wolfram alpha it'll say 288...

2..
if you though it was 2 i hope you are under the age of 10, if not i hope you choose not to reproduce
I got 288
Brackets first, then divide the 48 by 2, then multiply the 48 with 12 (the brackets) and you get 288

Well that's obvious if the (9+3) is not in the denominator.
Write it like this and you'll get 2: 48÷(2(9+3))
(48/2)*(9+3)=288

if you follow PEMDAS...the first thing you do is distribute the 2:
(2x9) + (2x3) = 24
48 % 24 = 2
2..............
