Increasing metabolism
If i wanted to raise my metabolism, would eating more and doing extra workouts help to raise it? Like if I added 500 cals a day and then did some extra cardio and continued to lift 3 or 4 days a week, would this maybe help to increase metabolism? I guess building muscle is probably the best way to increase it right? (definitely working on that) Are there any other ways to increase it?
I know most of you guys probably have crazy fast metabolisms, and I think mine's alright, but i only weigh 95 lbs and I'm a girl, so I'm thinking its way slower than ur guys. My hands are usually cold too. I just want to raise mine as much as possible so i can be a furnace like you guys.

Increased muscle leads to higher metabolism (1 lb of muscle burns 50 more calories/day than fat), lifting itself increases metabolism for up to 24 hrs afterwards, as does HIIT. Higher protein intakes lead to a higher Thermic Effect of Feeding, and eating more often keeps metabolism up as well.
