I know this sounds crazy, but I've been having bouts with my asthma lately which normally doesn't happen unless I'm exorcising. Someone suggested that a low carb diet increases or decrease (forgot which one) the amount of CO2 in the blood and can highten chances of asthma attacks.
Is this an old wives tale, or is it any validity to it?
What I read off of google, low carb tends to reduce symptoms/attacks.

I've had asthma symptoms in the past, but they've cleared up since switching to Keto.
I used to have hay fever (which doctors occasionally insisted was asthma and gave me interesting drugs for) but it disappeared when I started keto. Can't see any reason why keto would cause or increase asthma.
