While dips do hit the chest a bit, especailly leaning forward and weighted, they hit the triceps somewhat more. Go with flies, but that's my experience.

Yeah, think I'd go with some kind of an arcing movement isolating pecs, like flies, you're already doing pressing movements.
On the other hand though, love weight dips for triceps... just wasn't the topic specified.
I do both in my chest/triceps work out.
I do flys before then I finish off with dips.
You already have your pressing movements down, your next exercise should be a fly, those are best done after all your presses. Also, add some decline DB presses and different variations of it in there from time to time (BB decline, HS Decline), they are amazing for building chest mass and put less stress on the front delts.
I think dips outweight flys anytime but switch it up and also look into i believe they're called pullovers. its good to hit the chest from all angles. Maybe bench then pullovers or dips then flies. You hit the fibers that way from all directions really working the full chest!
Thanks guys.. But, what if i'm doing the chest and tri's same day.. If I went w/ the flys for chest could I go w/ the regular dips for tri's,. like the rouine for that day would be
Bench,
Incline DB Press
Flys
Regular Weighted Dips
Skull Crushers?

???
i like incline flyes and cable cross overs the best.
if you can go deep and wide on dips then dips beat flys any day in my opinion
I do a similar routine,
flat dumbells 4 sets 4-10 reps
incline dumbells 3 sets 4-10 reps
incline flyes 3 sets 8-12 reps
weighted dips 3 sets failure
skullcrushers 3 sets 6-10 reps
rope pushdowns 2 sets failure
