Does FAT loosen ??
Hi
I have had a bit of stubborn fat round my midsection for a few years now. I think its mostly due to large suppers :). For about 2 Weeks I've been doing a 20min jog on the treadmill and not having any supper before bed. Its hard to tell if I've lost some weight in that short amount of time but I've noticed the fat around my belly feels alot looser (either that or I'm getting fatter). So what I'm asking is does fat become looser or am I actually getting fatter ?

It did with me. I first noticed that it was becoming much more jiggly, then it started to go away.

It should become less hard as it starts to go away. This has happened to me.

The concentration of fat in you is reducing. I think mostly looser skin that you're feeling, not loose fat.

I hope my skin won't be baggy. Should be ok though as I'm not fat at all really. My waist is around 34" and just hope to get it to around 31-32".

It won't be man. It'll just take a little time to tighten up. Don't worry.

I was just going to make a thread like this. I have experienced the same thing. Im in the middle of my 4th week of cutting lost 10.6lbs so far half thats water though but I feel the same feeling when I grab fat especially off my gut It feels more jiggly and softer.

Yeah, there was a thread on this a while back. Basically its a good sign and has somethign to do with gaps forming in your adipose tissue or somethign like that.

I've gone from a hard gut to a jelly gut, so so this is good.

Holy crap I was just thinking this the other night after working out.
I notice that the fat around my stomach seems to be looser after an intense cardio workout. Then in the morning, things seem a little tight and more defined.
But I am glad I am on the right track.
