Okay, trying to lose weight, so would drinking milk before bed be bad, because of the sugar content? If so, what do I eat/drink before I go to sleep? Thanks.

If you can fit milk into your macros then go for it. as for me i hardly ever drink milk.... I would opt for a good casein protein, I love sustain by designer supplements
2% milk or 1% is great before bed..the casein in the milk will stop ur body from becoming catabolic. if ur lifting hard then make shure u get lots of casien type protein before bed like peanut butter, cottage cheese or even some muscle milk if it fits into ur calarioe amount.
Casein Based (or casein mixed protein) Protein Powder or Cottage Cheese is more optimal that Milk because it's going to have a lower amount of carbohydrates (and likely fat) that milk, but getting any type of casein shouldn't be terrible.
cals out > cals in
I kind of disagree guys. I think whole milk is better than 1% or 2% milk before bed time. Because the whole milk will slow down the digestion process and if mixed with good protein will slow release during all night. Not sure if I explained well, but I hope you got the concept.
I also need to educate a bit more about my meal before bed time. I was taking WPI and I don't think that is good. I will have to change.

that's why skim milk n natty pb works great...
Skim milk is fine. Casein is a good thing before bed.
Skim is fine, I always have a glass with protein powder before bed. Full fat milk is only good if you are an ectomorph (hard gainer) as it heps bulk up. Either way, drink your milk. Calcium is good...its a bodybuilding myth that dairy makes you fat.

Don't worry about the sugar content. If it doesn't cause you to go over your caloric goal then it's fine. Stop stressing little things.
dont waste your time or your milk dude. a good casein will have a few hundred calories and no sugar and no carbs. perfect right before bed. all the other stuff mentioned is good but having the real deal is even better
