Ya! WTF 20 to 30 inches expected!? I got midterms next week, so it's no problem for me.
WTF exactly!!! i mean, wednesday it was supposed to be "just an inch" and we get a snowstorm... so thursday i'm joking around and said, if 'just and inch' turns into this, then the watch the snowstorm we're supposed to get turn into a fuking blizzard!!! i honestly did not believe that would happen.
at least i got to the gym today. i really hope one of my gyms will be open tomorrow...
Not leaving the house. :D
Anyone from southern ct? im from trumbull - workout at fitness edge in stratford

vinny, do you per chance go to PF in newington? I'm considering transfering my membership there since they're open 24hrs and by the time I get home from work my gym is either already closed or closing too soon after to get a workout in. if you go there is it a good gym?

No, I don't go there, I lift at home for convence. I have a 2 1/2 year old and have to watch him during the day while my wife goes to school. I haven't herad anything good or bad about the place. See if they offer a free week and give it a shot. I didn't realize that they were open 24 hours. With my schedule, that would work out well. I like working out at home, but sometimes the motivation is just not there. Too many other distractions here.

(although the gym did open for more hours... like instead of opening at 6am (maybe it was 5am) now they open at 4am during the week. wonderful extra hours! really gonna benefit from that  24-7 gym hours would be kick @$$ though!

well, they're not 24/7. if I remember right it's 12am Monday-9pm Friday. then they're open til like 4 on saturday and sunday. supposedly branford is extending their hours when they move to the new facility around june, but who knows if that's going to be 24hrs or just an hour or 2 later. that also doesn't help me now. I'm working til 8 then I have to go back to the office and settle up for the day, and then drive 45min home. going to the gym just isn't happening right now and it needs to. just doing a lot of walking as part of my job isn't enough. I need to get back to some strength training.
Im from New Britain, CT and i work out @ the Bristol Golds...just wanted to say hi.
im in farmington. ne1 else?
Why the hell would you make another thread and say you're from Albany???
What's up guys.
From Shelton.. I go to either Fitness Edge in Milford, or PF in Shelton.
(I say GO lightly, the only thing I've been doing lately is being fat and out of shape), but I've started back finally, so I've got TONS of work ahead of me.
BTW, are there any alternatives locally to Supplement City? (since it's apparently gone now... :( ) GNC and Vitamin world are outrageously expensive. I'm going to get most of my crap from ***, but for now I want to get smaller sizes of protein/creatine etc locally till I get around to ordering on the web..
im from stamford......
Planet Fitness in norwalk for now, im waiting for the stamford one which is O so conveniantly located from my house. its like a 1minute walk from my house, yesss......
Hey guys. I'm in the woods of Bozrah. On the eastern side near Mohegan Sun.

...but, i can't believe you haven't heard of Vitamin Shoppe!!! They are unbeatable in price and have TONS of supplements, bars, etc. I go to the one on the post road across from the mall in orange/milford. you have got to check it out!!!!
haha, yeah... DONT go to vitamin World or GNC; not only does the variety (or lack of, i should say) suk balls, they also charge you an arm and leg, as you have already noticed.

Weird.. I drove by there months ago, and it looked like it was shut down. Maybe they were remodeling or something.. Who knows?
Anyways, I just bought from *** so I'm cool.
--Edit : Wow they block out Dee Pee Sss, that's anal.
^ their hours suck compared to most other places, but i was there like 3 weeks ago;

Yeah I know where that is, I have a friend in Meriden. Next time I'm at his house on a weekend I'll probably shoot up there.
Thanks! :-D

no sh!t  i can't believe i didn't know that!!! i go by there twice a week en route to and from uconn; this is convienent!!! does anyone know where abouts it is (like in relation to other places)?
across the street from Home Depot and SYMS. Right next to Berlin pizza. CVS is on the same side of the road. If you are coming from UCONN CVS is right past it, so if you hit CVS you went to far.
^ sweet deal! thanks! i'm gonna raid vitamin shoppe this weekend (got a $90 "gift certificate" from my points from last year... [translate: from the $1560 i blew there last year  :D ] so that will get me by for another 1.5 months...
...but anywayz, they do have that ostrim at supp city, (at least in orange anywayz), which is good stuff, so i'll have to check them out!
