Deep as fuark. Must have been the beard! GJDM.
so hot. i would rape you if I get the chance.
nice man
Congrats here too.
nice shoes, nice squat.... wanna ****?
moAr vIDZ imo
On a more serious note, do you do over-max walkouts/lockouts?
Holy ****, when I read the title I honestly expected you to post some eastern european guy squatting. Never expected it would be yourself squatting 600lbs. Looked deep as hell brah.

I never do over-max walkouts or lockouts. If I did, my walkouts probably wouldn't look like I was going to die.
My weekly training split is this:
Day 1: Front squats 4 sets of 5, Bench full ROM, higher reps
Day 2: Front squats 4 sets of 5 (heavier), Bench - usually boards, lower reps
Day 3: Back squats work to one heavy set, then Front Squats 4 sets of 5
So I only do 3 exercises: front squat, back squat, and bench (with variations).

Thanks, I was really happy with the depth.
No deadlift?
Awesome squat though!

Great job, OP. I hate you.
Beastly squat.
I think remember you talking about doing front squats more a while back in your journal. Seems like you really put it to the test and it's working well for ya.
What are your front squat PR's? I'm curious. Also, how often are you pulling...?
That was awsome! Congrats on breaking 600lbs.

No, I hate you. You beat me to a 600 DL, I think. Aren't you something like Daaave on YouTube? I've been watching your progress; you are almost my exact weight, and our lifts are nearly the same. When I saw you squatted 585 a week or two ago, I knew it was time to squat a PR.

I'm not pulling--the last time I didn't pull and just did front squats and back squats, I hit a 20 lb PR on deadlift.
I'm really bad at front squats, which is probably why it is good for me to do them so much. I squatted this PR on a Monday, and the Saturday before I front squatted 315x5 which was a PR for me. I haven't maxed on f-squats in quite a while.

Thanks! I'm not sure that I'll ever make it to 700 unless I start competing equipped or I bulk up huge (which I doubt will ever happen), so it feels good to at least get to 600.

Hahaha, yeah that's my YouTube page. I'm hoping for a 600 squat at the meet so we will see! Sick squat though, better than that 570 somethin you posted a while back.
Interesting training protocol... My deadlift sucks fat balls compared to my squat (always has), and I've considered just not doing it at all. I was worried that I'd be one of those people who didn't get much carryover from squatting.

In my experience, you generally want to focus on the lift you are worst at.
My squat was always way behind my deadlift, and I've focused on it for almost 2 years straight now, having rarely trained my deadlift during that time. My deadlift is still pretty close to my squat; I'm hoping to hit 600 on DL tomorrow.
All that to say, you might want to do the reverse: focus on deadlift, and not so much on squat. Attacking your weakest lift helps to fill out the weak spots in your total.
The beard strikes again! Well done on hitting your goal, and in style.
great lift/facial hair. and on a side note, thanks for posting all the videos of insane Eastern bloc lifters.
now take off the belt and wraps and i'll be impressed.
But seriously strong lift. The walkout was shaky as fuk but you grinded the lift out nice job.
Buried that super deep man, Grats.
Epic beard btw!

No problem; I haven't been posting the videos here because I always get involved in some long convo on a thread and I don't have time for that, but I have been shooting e-mails to PLWatch when I see good videos, so that's where a lot of their across-the-ocean stuff comes from. So, you can keep an eye out there for what I usually post here.
I saw that video on YouTube but didn't realize that it was you... nice work.
That whole lift scared me. I'm glad I don't have to spot you. lol
Good Job Everett Man

It took me long enough... I remember talking about squatting 600 when we met at the NAS Nationals, haha.

A few meets ago, one of my back spotters told me that in his time as a spotter, I was the most terrifying person to spot.
no deadlift PR?
no deadlift PR?
I tried 600, but missed it slightly above the knees because my form is bad now. That's what I get for only doing deadlifts at meets, haha.
Holy crap you went balls deep on that one, nice work.
