Shilajit
Apparently it is the new ingredient for Bioforge V3.
Not too much info out there about it other than it being an adaptogen and that there have been concerns about heavy metals being present in herbal products containing the ingredient. Obviously Bioforge will not likely have that problem but it would be nice if anyone else had some more info about this interesting ingredient.
Also of interest is that a product called Poseidon?sp? used to contain shilajit but the ingredient was removed because of issues exporting shilajit to countries overseas. The rep who commented on the removal of shilajit from Poseidon made it out that no one would really notice a difference and it wasnt a big deal. So if no one notices then what the point of putting it in in the first place?
Shilajit, what is it? Whos got the info?
holy shizz! bout damn time somebody use this stuff. I've been trying to get it in a supps since 2006. The original Poseidon had it but they removed it for whatever reason (costs probably).

""I've not noticed any differences at all(and this is coming from someone one went straight from one version to the other). Due to some of our customer's customs issue with Poseidon importation and shilajit(it's not allowed by many countrys), we re-evaluated the importance of the original formula with the 'jit
and found that it really wasn't a primary contributer to the main aspects garnered from the product, no loss in effectiveness, nada. Sooooo, with that in mind we wanted to give everybody the ability to experience Poseidon without the worry of possible oversea's ordering problems.""
From a different thread. Posted by prld2gr8ns.

Hey are you going to recommend we take the new Bioforge with milk? Seems to be a potentiator.

Oh okay. I dunno about the kind and dose of shilajit they were using. Also...If no one notices then what the point of putting it in in the first place? You're right about this.
I can assure you the PrimaVie is definitely something whose effects can be noticed fast and substantially.

There already is a Bioforge V3?

^^this
what the heck, huge?

Seems that the main active ingredient in shilajit is Fulvic Acid. Claimed to be a panacea for all illnesses from fatigue to infertility. Not much in the way of testosterone increases at 27% in the one study that looked into it. I guess Bioforge is moving away from the idea the more testosterone = good.

We performed several in house tests (you'll see the results before its release), its effects on testosterone are dose-dependent albeit not perfectly linear.
It's also not the only T-boosting ingredient in the new formula.

I feel that Biotivia were spot on with both versions 1 and 2. Therefore, i have full trust in their new version 3. I know some would argue that version 1 was 'basic' but whats wrong with that?! If it aint broke dont fix it. People nowadays are too clogged up in fanciful names for the sake of saying 'this **** is cool because it contains *insert 30 letter name here*'. However, version 2 was even better. If version 3 tops that then credit to TheHuge. This guys knows his ****.

Wow, you reply quick!
I've been reading about it previously on another informative site. It's a promising addition for anyone who is active and takes their health seriously. It also demonstates some nice synergy with CoQ10.

LMAO....
Its effects also include activation of anabolic processes in different organs and tissues. Experimental investigations showed that shilajit extract accelerated processes of protein and nucleic acid synthesis, stimulated the energy-providing reactions in liver, and promoted transportation of minerals, especially calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium, into muscle and bone tissues . Studies of anabolic properties made it possible to use mumie extract in elite Russian military and sports establishments for nearly 4 decades for increasing strength and muscle mass as well as for its recuperative powers.

Shilajit actually enhances the absorption of other nutrients coadministered.

You welcome. Hands down, one of the most trusted companies on the market (and there's not many). With Biotivia you obtain purity, results, value all in one bottle. There's no compromise when it comes to 'real' results as opposed to 'placebo' results.
What stands out with Biotivia products like Bioforge 1 and 2 is that it promotes itself. Theres not even ONE promotion poster i have come across yet on this forum relating to this future release of version 3. While other so-called 'major' companies are spending heavily on promotion, this sells itself regardless of changes in formulas because whatever is launched, rest assured its the safest and arguably (undeniably in my opinion) the best testosterone booster on the market. However, i wouldn't think any different if they did start doing promotional posters as its a normal function of any business to do so and TheHuge and co. (more than most) deserve the success they achieve and worked hard for.
Before any trolls read this and think im associated with Biotivia im NOT affiliated with them in any way. This is just a satisfied consumer.

Shilajit is a thick, sticky tar-like substance with a blackish brown color, which means "rock- invincible" in Sanskrit.
It is a rock-like substance that is found in mountainous regions in Asia. This material has been found to have great detoxification and energy-producing health benefits.
It has been used for thousands of years for longevity and a host of other ailments. Shilajit is a thick, blackish-brown mineral pitch resin that oozes out of cracks in the Himalayan Mountains as the summer heat raises the temperature of the rock.
