Anabolic Steroids, why do you lose the gains after a cycle? [srs]
My explanation, could be totally wrong and unaccurate :
Most of the gains are coming from cell hypertrophy (anti-catabolic propreties of anabolic steroids enabled the production of more muscle tissu protein by keeping a good nitrogen balance) and not from cell hyperlasia (formation of new cells).
Since the test level are dramaticaly dropping, the anti-catabolic proprietes are gone and muscle breakdown begins thus a part of the gains is lost
But ... some people are talking about cortisol playing a major role in this situation? Is it because the drop of the test level is considered a stress? Why do we need to take cortisol in account here?
If someone has an other explanation I'll be glad to hear it! (Oh I know about the water weight that, depending on the compound used, can account for abig/small part of the weight loss) No bro science please
