Hello :)
I reached my goal and I want to start cutting so if anyone had reviews on taking Glutamine during a cutting phase or on this product in general? I was told that Glutamine will help maintain or increase muscle while burning fat. I want to reduce my body fat/lose weight. I do cardio for an hour everyday and i don't want to lose muscles so will glutamine help me maintain muscles and lose fat?

Glutamine will not do anything substantial (if anything at all) to help preserve muscle mass while during a cut. I would not waste your money on the product imo.
The only sure fire way to minimize muscle loss during a cut is to train intensely focusing on progressive overload and getting stronger as time progresses and eating in a deficit that will not allow you to lose much more then 2 pounds week as at that rate of loss a good portion, if not the majority, will be fat tissue loss and not muscle tissue loss.

I dont think thats going to help. You should look into bcaa's or a combo of bcaa's and eaa's (Purple Wrath) to help maintain muscle during a strict cutting phase as well as creatine mono.

I agree with you but people take this supplement for a reason, it shouldn't be useless, or?

Creatine mono is a very good supplement but it adds water to the body and I don't think creatine is a good choice for cutting

I would never cut without it. It add water, but its in the muscle. Although your scale may go up a few pounds it wont make you look any less cut at all.

People take it for 2 reasons. They are preparing for a contest and need every little inch they can get. Or, they don't know any better and give in to all the hype.
Also, creatine mono is great for a cut or bulk. It may add up to 5 lbs worth of water weight, but it won't affect your fat loss at all and it'll help you maintain muscle.
Also, its recommended that you do sprints or HIITs in place of long bouts of cardio to preserve muscle. Its just better all around in my opinion in terms of cardio, fat loss, time, muscle gains... good stuff.
I would say forget the glutamine, make sure to take creatine, and maybe look into some BCAAs while your cutting.
A lot of BCAA products like Scivation Xtend contain some glutamine if that makes you feel any better.
Some people like it during fasted training, but for the most part, glutamine is a billion dollar industry based upon broscience. It has some uses, but very few in terms of what people are looking for on these boards.
Like the others stated, check out a bulk creatine and some bcaa's for your cut. They are definitely helpful.
Stick with a BCAA product during your cut.
Out of the things people have mentioned in this thread creatine usage is your best bet for any supplement. Creatine is the one proven supplement that has shown to aid in muscle hypertrophy, and to preserve it during a caloric deficit. For the people noting a 5lb water weight gain, who cares? The water retention from creatine is from intracellular saturation and means nothing in terms of the final look that a person is striving for. Focusing solely on the number on the scale is a sure fire way to failure IMO.
OP weight loss is simply calories in vs calories out. I would suggest checking the nutrition section to get an idea of your maintenance calories so you can know where to go from there. I would also recommend performing a variation of cardio consisting of interval training for various days, and steady state cardio for others. Doing an hour of cardio a day is going to not only burn up fat, but also your hard earned muscle as well.
The scale is my least favorite measurement tool, yes it can be beneficial to ensure weight is dropping, but ultimately your mirror and will help determine your final product. Hope that helps!

People used to use cee and arginine for a reason and thought it shouldn't be useless.
