i did it for about 3 weeks, at first it was good but after a while you get highs and lows in your energy because i cut alot of fat out.
i lost about 2 pounds in 3 weeks but no mater what i ate i just wanted to eat more. the fat i think helps keep you sane
i like cutting carbs and some fat at the same time over just fat
I am always low-moderate carbs
My body def holds on to the higher carb days/week when Ive tried and I dont like how I look or feel
Before i knew anything about nutrition and the role each macronutrient played in the body I did a cut about 700 below maintenance with probably 60% carbs, 30% protein and 10% fat, I lost alot of weight,15 pounds in about a month and a half, but my body composition stayed the same. Lost just as much muscle as fat
Currently on keto and cutting, the results are awesome, high fat loss, very muscle sparing

It's what I'm on right now.
I usually get in about 160g protein, about 400-500 cals from fat, and everything else is carbs, so that's something like 350g+ while calorie restricted. Over half those carbs are sugar too. (lots of fruit, some candy)
Going well thus far, losing at exactly the rate I want while still maintaining good energy levels
