Do you urinate a lot when you take creatine?

since u drink a lot of water, do you urinate more often or does the water stay in your body?

both.

I urinate all the time when I'm taking in 1-2 gals of water per day.

I drink a lot of water a piss like a racehorse pretty often on creatine. Now that I think about it, I am off cycling now, but still drinking lots of water and peeing a lot.

When you begin to urinate too frequently it can be a sign of low electrolytes, so you should consume some sodium + potassium (found in gatorade, powerade, etc) on a daily basis.

Also if you drink too much water too quickly your body decides that your stomach it too full and doesn't need all the water thats inside it so it decides to empty it.

If you dont a)take in a healthly amount of electrolytes or do b)consume too much water too quickly you can eventually dehydrate yourself and your efforts to rehydrate yourself do squat. Apparently there have been extreme situations where athletes who have just completed events, are dehydrated and through a +/ b continue to dehydrate themselves further and actually die or become quite ill.

Creatine will increase kidney function and make you urinate much more often, thus taxing kidneys maybe more than you should.

u should b peeing like crazy if not ur not takin in enough water meaning then u shouldnt b takin creatine cuz then u'll experince some off the side effects.

just started using creatine regularly again, forgot how much I needed to go to the bathroom...

Drinking a minimum of 1 gallon of water per day will make you piss a lot regardless. The creative really doesn't increase or decrease.

I am skinny and started taking creatine monohydrate from past 7 days. i take 2.5gm pre and 2.5 gm post workout ..is it correct way ? and i drink approx 3 to 3.5 ltr water and i pee continuously. will i still get the result ? One of my frnd told me if u pee all the creatine is lost ...help me out guys ...
