My knee pops when I walk
Ok I think I can trace it back to when I was doing leg presses. Its been popping and hurting for about 5 weeks now.
The popping doesnt hurt at all but my knee just aches with a light pain all the time. It pops when I walk about 90% of the steps I make now. It used to be maybe 25% of the steps I took. I havent been doing anymore leg presses and it doesnt seem to be getting any better.
Anyone have any clues as to what it could be? Its going to be a good 3 weeks before I can get in and get Xrays done

No this is more than just stretching. Its defintely an injury.
Anyone have any clue what kind of injury it could be?

Could be worn cartilage or some type of misalignment of your knee......
I have painless popping in my knee when I flex it back and forth and the ortho said it could be from worn cartilage from wear and tear or some type of misalignment of the joint......

Yea the popping is painless, but my knee aches usually while Im sleeping or just starts aching here and there

hey mate
I might be wrong but i have a similar problem. I went to the phsyio and he said that my knee cap was out of alignment. He stated that your knee cap runs up and down on a rail. similar to a train moving on a train track.
I am not very technical with my muscles but the outer side of my ride quad was really tight and this caused my knee cap to pull to the right. Just see a physio and get some treatment.
hope this helps

Could be a meniscus tear and your knee is popping in and out or even an ACL tear (this is exactly what it sounded like for both my ACL tears). Go get xrays and if nothing shows up, go to an orthopedic surgeon with the xrays and they'll probably recommend an MRI.
