I saw Dark Knight Rises when I was by myself on Saturday. I still don't know if I liked it.
Pretty dark and introspective, and long. Some good action at the end. I usually can't stand Anne Hathaway but she made a great cat-woman. Her fighting scenes were very good.
I'll probably watch it again with my kids, see what they think.
Now me on the other hand loved the batman dark series movies and I recently bought them on bluray. I also loved the whole saw series as well and while not all of them are of the same calibur they all have various aspects to appreciate. I also like the hellraiser series in the same way as the saw movies.

Hellraiser is my fav horror series

Wifey and I went to see Lucy, was pretty good. Kind of dumb towards the end, they tried to hard, but the beginning and middle were very good.

Anyone saw Hercules?
I heard that the rock really buffed up for the part......but can he act?

I think im going to wait until that one comes out on video because it is a much lower budget movie than the recent one that was released before it and I wasnt overly impressed with that one.

Marie, I saw The Dark Knight Rises and thought it fine, but it could have used some trimming. Bane's voice was a little indistinct at times--although the actor is imposing and did his part well--and the general tone was dark, as it should be. I'm not an Anne Hathaway fan, either, but she was excellent, I thought. I have the trilogy, and yes, I'm biased, as I'm a huge Batman fan.
I'll be more impressed if DC/Warners can actually pull off the Batman/Superman flick. Ben Affleck is a likeable guy, but he's not my choice for Batman. The critics are already bashing it, but if the script is good, then it'll be worth it. Wait and see.

I watched Transformers 4 last weekend and enjoyed it. What was interesting to a point was the voice actors, Jason Statham and John Goodman stood out and Kelsey Grammer as a bad guy, I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it. I thought he was phenomenal! Great popcorn movie!!

Saw "Sabotage" on the weekend with the wife.
I like Arnie, so I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't great by any means.

Saw it last weekend. Enjoyable and the rock was pretty good. Some amusing sidekicks for him and one sexy amazon lady. When I saw the previews I thought it was about the trials of Hercules but it's actually totally different than I expected.

The Purge 2 is good way better than the 1st one
-
Watched Sharknado and Sharknado 2.
(Yeah, I'm a masochist)
I truly believed movies could NOT get any worse than these.
I was wrong.

Which movies were worse than Sharknado 1 and 2?
-
Expendables 3 was pretty awesome, if only because I get a kick out of seeing so many of the old time action stars all in one movie! They did appear to leave the door open for Expendables 4!
:)

It's gonna be a long list, trust me.
Purge and Purge 2 top the list, but there are others of prime cheese out there.

Okay who's seen Guardians of the Galaxy? Spill the beans!

It's a fun flick. See it, it's totally worth it.

Loche - An obscure and non traditional film, but powerfully captivating due to Tom Hardy's compelling performance.
I dug it.

Enjoyed the 1st one and did not care for the 2nd at all, too many asinine one liners.

Hated The Purge, within the first few minutes I was hoping every character would die quickly.
-
Watched the purged 2 was pretty good. Might go see ninja turtles tonight or Hercules not sure yet.
Enjoyed the 1st one and did not care for the 2nd at all, too many asinine one liners.
It's a classic 80's/90's action movie, asinine one liners are a requirement!

Waited to see Gravity on cable. With Sandra Bullock, my hopes weren't high. But, she is still good looking.
The movie was pretty good, IMO. Gave me vertigo a couple times and had some suspenseful moments.
7.38/10

I saw it...not bad. 2nd one will probably be better. Chris Pratt is great though. Worth checking out at some point whether in the theater or on TV.
