Tugboat will blow you all away....I've lifted at his "gym". We even had to use his kids when we did sled pulls (good thing he's got more than most Mormon families) :p

I've tried to talk my daughter into hopping on the sled for a trip up the hill, but she just looked at me like I was crazy.
Next he's gonna be hanging them from his barbell to change the center of gravity :p

it worked.
epic squat stands. did you use nails for your j-hooks? or how do you rest the weight? I can't tell from video
-
I love those squat stands.
When I unrack the bar I can credit myself with a good morning PR.
It's also fun to rack the bar after a heavy set and not know whether or not they will topple over.
Also note the loading of the bar. It's actually only 200 pounds but the weights go on for days. ha ha ha ha

3 different boards cut at different lengths. At one time they were just duct taped together. Have you nailed them together yet Boat???
-
2x4's cut at different heights. there is a high catch for squats and overheads and a low catch that can be used for other lifts. i don't know why you would'nt be able to tell with that super 1080i high definition video
-
hahahaha there was never any duct tape. im a ghetto lifter but not a retarded lifter. they're nailed but i need to reinforce them with some screws the nails are starting to pull out from the top. if you watch my latest youtube squat vid you can hear the boards creak like a haunted house when i roll it back to get my grip. hahahaha

If you check the vid carefully, bigfoot runs out of the woods for a brief second.

hahahaha. here you go
http://www.casualhacker.net/blog/2008/04/homemade-squat-stands/
i made mine slightly different than these. instead of putting two different height catches up top. i did one up high and another down low for shrugs, savickas presses, general bar loading and such. i have had over 350 on the top hook and over 450 on the bottom hook with no problems.

Congrats on the big win.
Nice pullups.
-
So what's the deal on the pause squat? Elite doesn't have a video description of them. I get the movement, but, does it serve a purpose that a box squat doesn't serve?
-

Not really. I've just done some sled work to keep up my conditioning.
Although yesterday I couldn't help myself and pulled a beltless 600 frame dead after squats :p
