1yr 3 month progress
I know gains at this stage are going to be slow but still. 205lbs, 6ft
Looks like Ive gotten leaner from November? I gained only 5 pounds. wtf.. Dirty bulking hard.
Tell me your opinions.
edit: not showing legs cause they aren't exactly what I want them to be yet :D soon.
-
you have gained a bit of muscle yes, but i would have expected a lot more in that amount of time
-
Noticeable gains in the arms and chest! Great job!
progress/10

Your fuking start picture looks better than I did after a year of lifting. Fuk.
Looks like you've pretty much just gained pure muscle, chest and arms look thicker and back is looking good too and bf% just looks exactly the same. If I were you I'd just keep doing that, it's a slow gain but you'll never even have to cut, which is the waste of time tradeoff if you go dirty bulk for maximum size gains.

Srs? His progress has been really good for a year as well! I think there is some good noticeable gains! Well done mate
-
you've definitely gained muscle. keep at it bro, this the way of a natty. we're all brainwashed to some extend as to how fast and how much gains we get. nothing against ppl who are on dat dere but just know the rate of gains is wayy diffrent! always compare urself to urself, and beat it each time, good luck :)
-
are you sure you're 200lb+? i'm 180 and i look bigger with same height
-
I like how you stand closer to the camera in the after shots to look bigger.

Yep. Big bones + some fat. You probs look bigger because of lower fat %.

All I can do is stand in the same place as the before picture with the same lighting.

you getting right macros? how many cals you on? dirty bulk should be getting you at least 1.5 pnds a week i would think...so i would think you should have see allot more.
-
Good job! nice progress brah
-
thats good for 1 year imo. I have many friends and see gym regulars who don't look that good after 1 year.

400-500 carbs, 200 protein and around 100-120 fats. too much fats slowing me down ?
Thanks for your input everyone!
-
i dont think so, i hit 150g fat and feel awesome and seem to be getting gains faster. protein sounds 'ok' too, some would say go 1.5 g/pound, normally i would say overkill but cant hurt if the gains are coming slow eh... how many cals? being 200+ pounds i would expect you would need in that 3500+ range to gain if your moderately active

100-120g fat is just about right for your bodyweight as far as I know. There's no reason to cut down on fat.
-
good gains man, what's your routine?
-
Everyone is different and gain and different rates. You look different and you have put on some noticeable size. Is this rubbish "You should of gained more" is BS. This is a lifestyle, gains will come and you have your whole life to get them. Its a marathon bro, not a sprint.

I sometimes struggle getting 200 Protein in because I have little time to cook my meals. Getting about 3800 calories. I feel like I am going to explode. Carbed up brah.
good gains man, what's your routine?
Thanks, routine is Layne Norton's P.H.A.T with some modifications. The first year was a push/pull/legs/rest split.

Good job bro. Definitely noticeable. Work on those weaknesses and bring everything into proportion.

yoyo bro good gains for one year don't listen to some of this "haters" here. All looks nice and in proportion. Also nice round shoulders. Just keep going like you did before. Don't waste time on dirty bulk. Lean gains are much better.
