Gaining 30 pounds of muscle in a year?
Hey guys, before you all start repeating the same phrase of "It's impossible to gain 30 pounds of muscle in a year!", hear me out.
I just turned 18 and I am weighing 150 pounds and I am 5'11. My goal weight is 180 pounds. I am new to body building, and I have heard in a few articles that I have researched that if you are new to body building then you are able to gain muscle much more significantly than someone who's worked out for years. Other research that I have done was watching Twilight (no hate) and Taylor Lautner gained 30 pounds of muscle within one year with strict dieting, etc. The article is here..
(I apologize, I can't post links yet x) )

With the formula it provides, I have came up with the following..
-must eat 3510 calories per day
-PROTEIN - 180 grams of protein per day
-FAT - 90 grams of fat per day
-CARBS - 495 grams of carbs
-2 hours of workout, skip every third day.
-6 meals a day - each with 585 calories.
I usually don't eat alot, because I was a chubby kid so I'm self conscious about my weight and fearing of getting fat. I recorded all that I ate for one week and I averaged eating 1500 calories a day (while watching what I ate). I am now ready to go all out and force myself to eat all this food to grow large.
Even if I don't hit "gaining 30 pounds of muscle" I would more than happy to gain 20 pounds. I figure if I shoot high, then I would land somewhere up there.
Any positive advice guys?
