FINALLY got my power back.. was out for fking 5 hours
dat feel when that exact storm passed over my city yet no flooding was seen that day
I'm going home by Train from Windsor to Toronto then from Toronto to Ottawa on Wednesday 1pm.
Misc what do I do?
Man, I took the 5 pm train from Union to Langstaff on the Richmond hill line, lucky as fuk. Got home about 20 min late, still have power, so it's been a great day. The 5:30 people are still out there stranded. Subway is done for, the DVP is a river.

Don't come here man, seriously, Wednesday is supposed to be just as bad.
I'm from ottawa and have a job interview in Richmond Hill at 3pm... dead fuk'n srs. For the York Regional Police... what do i do brahs?
Our crackhead mayor will get right on fixing this luls.
But srs, my mom commutes from downtown to suburbs up north. Luckily her car wasn't fully underwater and she was able to drive home on side-streets only, major highways were f*cked with flooded parts.

You are safe up north here, we just got some heavy rain but that's it. No flooding.
Are you going to the headquarters in Newmarket?

I live in Markham, anything north of Highway 7 was ok. In between, meh, wasn't so bad(where I live). Everything south of Steeles is a nightmare.

btw can I ask why you are applying for a police service that's so far away from you? just wondering.

the interview is right in the hillcrest mall... Am I gonna make it brah?? Or am I doomed to live in my mother's basement and miss the job interview?
wow i didn't think it was that bad. nothing wrong in my area
dat dere cn tower will be the only place above water soon.
stay safe brahs.
in hamilton. it looks okay, but i'm in the downtown core and if it storms, it's prone to flooding just as bad. considering moving my car from the underground garage just in case.

no prob brah. The YRP are hiring right now, in ottawa you need to be bilingual or you're working in a grocery store srs. Ottawa municipal isn't hiring until 2015.
That feel when driving 10 hrs to Toronto 7 times for a 7 stage job application process
