That's pretty much the weekend here in Winnerpeg.
A week from today I have my consultation with my surgeon and he'll tell me when my operations are going to be scheduled.
I just want to get them out of the way and get on with my life.

EH!?!?!
I'm not aware.
So I'm looking at moving closer to work to cut down on my commute. Right now I'm spending ~$300 a month taking the West Coast Express in to work. Now being a strong independent [strike]wo[/strike]man like myself on a single salary I can afford to move into an older 2 bed, 2 bath place that was built in the 80s or into a brand new place that's 1 bed, 1 bath + a den that was built this year.
Part of me wants that 2 bed + 2 bath place since it's easier to sell down the road plus that second bathroom is nice to have when I have the guys over. Brb don't want them ****ting in my personal bathroom :(. What would you guys do

That explain the rep to post ratio.

2 bed + 2 bath for several reasons. Pending it's all good on inspection you have a house that is settled and by that I mean the foundation and wall are not shifting anymore (hopefully). The space is obviously much more useful. The resale value and ease of sale is better. Generally the areas are established meaning little to no construction. Most of the time people in the area are there to stay.
For the 1+1 if it's a house or condo there are several issues that could come up. What is it?

Duuuuuuuuude that train is $300/month? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that
I'd go 2 bed/2 bath honestly. You gonna be renting a home or something? That's a pretty big place for a single dude.

Apparently in BC, condos are called strata titles. never heard that phrase before.
Also what the hell is a condo? Googling it and still don't get it. Is it a townhouse or something?
They're both condos.

Well then.... majority of what I said is still true with the 2+2 minus the people in the area stuff.
With newer condos you're more likely to run into issues with stuff not being that well built. It could have been built better but you're more likely to run into issues with newer condos.
I know that feel of spitting 300$ on transportation. Everything I do during the week is location 30-40min away from my place so the gas bill gets high. I need to fuking move.

How about both!
Honestly tho, the only annoyance I have about moving is finding the right spot with a landlord who's good and not annoying. From there if I find a good place I'm good. Been living in my current apt 7yrs its time for me to go.
And if I'm buying a new car I'm never touching one of those chitty looking smart, yaris and co. If I'm going into debt I'm going to pay bills on something I actually like to look at and clean on a sunny summer day.

Yeah I went with the smallest fuel efficient vehicle that I could go with that was still pretty decent. A Ford Focus hatch. It gets the job done, there are things that I do like about it and things that I don't. Not sure how long I'll hold onto it as it's size is probably the biggest downfall I have with it.

Can confirm, used to live in Richmond strata. Difference between condo and apartment is mostly just the ownership.
Defining the Condo
A condo is a type of shared property which contains individually owned units. So from a legal standpoint, if you buy an apartment you could call yourself a condo owner. Ownership is the key difference between apartment vs. condo distinctions – but a condo label is usually only applied to communities which support a condo lifestyle.
Condominiums offer services and facilities to condo owners such as maintenance repairs, lawn care, pools, gyms and club houses. Condo owners have to abide by the regulations and policies of the condominium’s homeowners association which often include: annual condo membership fees, maintaining a specific type of appearance outside of the condo and pet restrictions.
Defining the Apartment
Apartment is a term that is usually applied to a unit in a building that is rented. While a purchased apartment can legally be called a condo many apartments for sale do not fit the traditional idea of condo ownership.
Instead, condos usually refer to units that are within a shared community – while apartment owners reside in a building that also has apartments for rent or which does not have any type of owner’s association or extra services provided to tenants or owners.
I am but the biggest issue is that I needed something reliable and a reliable truck is over 30k which I obviously don't have. My main choice was a Ford Fusion, looks nice, it's big and seeing as I was eying the turbo it was fast and fun. But the financial situation didn't quite work out but I got a deal on this so I'm not complaining.

Yeah depends where you go, the current deals and such. Luckily when I bought the dollar was pretty decent. I paid under 20k with tax, title, plates, etc. for this where similar models in my area were about 22-24k all in. Granted I had to travel an hour away it was well worth it for the bank account as that extra few grand is insurance and gas for me.
I think once I land a full time job and have some money saved up I'll trade this in while it's worth something and get something bigger that I can use.

I know that feel. The gym is 30 minutes away. I drive in 5 days a fukkin week. And I have to hit the other gym that is 40min away once a week too for deadlift day so I can use the trap bar.
Man, we had amazing weather over the weekend. Sunny and 23-27 degrees. We built 2 raised gardens and put in a pool. I got a sunburn on my butt yesterday. Hurts more than they usually do. Bananaboat sunscreen is fukin garbage.

Nice backyard. Too bad about the gym distance, have you ever thought about making a home gym?
Also, jakes on you getting sunburned, I've never had a sunburn in my life.
To powerlifters ITT, have any of you tried smolov jr for bench and how did you find it?
