Not sure what one to go for, what one does everyone prefer?
It doesnt matter, find the one that matches your macro needs. In my opinion Phase-8 tastes better than ON but also has a few more carbs
Why does have to be only those 2 options?
Cellucor whey is great for cutting or bulking. Also has great taste and I would recommend Cookies N Cream, Cinnamon Swirl, and PB Marshmallow.
Other good Protein Choices would be PROnom, Protean, and Trutein.

This. I personally sacrifice the few extra calories to enjoy my shake.

I'm just assuming that is what he narrowed it down to. But OP, All the choices are great just find something you enjoy with very little carbs,sugar or extra fat to make it easier when your adjusting your macros.
Simply from a calorie standpoint I would get Gold Standard

^ this is my standpoint as well
also, you may have to consider flavor vs each other, and if money is a concern, you'll have to consider that as well.
