Your thinking of Cronus, not anus.

I vote for
-Matrix - Entire house is full of equipment
not the entire house LOL. ;).
not the entire house LOL. ;).
I thought it was your ENTIRE house--I'm disappointed now! :)
Just kidding! But knowing that it is your entire house does explain how you are able to keep adding equipment--at some point I was wondering how you managed to keep adding stuff!
We just got a Planet Fitness somewhat locally. I lulz'd when I saw it going in.
Also straight up if you KNOW you're going to be juicing and you are CERTAIN you won't give it up weeks in then I think you just spend the money on a dedicated juicer. And if I ever reach that point this is the only juicer I'd get.
BRB, Let me check on something real quick........
Nope, not one monkey flying out of my ass. :D
It's not the ones flying out of your ass that you have watch out for...it's the ones trying to fly into your ass.
Either way, I'm sure Sherm could fab up some sort of ass-guard for you out of knurled 1" bars, rope, and a couple split clamps if you asked him nicely.

Problem is it would look like it was fabricated out of knurled 1" bars, rope and a couple split clamps. . . .

I'd rather he include a marker.
Thanks for the info! I have read about the BlendTec and VitaMix - Ive even read that they have so much power if you make soup it warms up the soup from how much it blends it. But they are both 400-500$...
I'm a big fan of the Vitamix. I've had one for over 10 years and use it daily.
I think you can still get the refurbished 5200 units for $330 plus tax/free US Shipping.

You guys may laugh, but I bet Rogue and EliteFTS will be supplying Sharpies with every order next week. Its about time they did away with that lazer cut nonsense they've been doing.
Rumour has is that Sherm has loads of other customisation options....

On the Vitamix website, under "Shop Home Products" then Specials will be the $330 offer.
This brings up a subject that my family has gotten enjoyment at my expense for decades. I decide to try/buy something new. Get interested in something which starts me on my quest for the holy grail.(unfortunately sometimes it becomes the Monty Python version). Almost always, spend quite a bit of time, at times, to the point of information overload which then gives way to a numbing and paralyzing sensation.(that would be in part due to lack of sleep, too much research, and then finding something even better) Must have the best. Must get the best. Must try the best, all go through my brain. Oh wait, must find the best deal. Must get the best deal. Must buy the best deal, are also circling around in my now aching paralyzed with information overload and searching for "the deal" brain.
I at least get the satisfaction that my family is usually laughing at me throughout the process. Which we all know will play out itself again and again, in the near future....

Reps on the recharge! My point exactly!
It's funny because he quit working out and shriveled up again.
Guess what, I got back to my almost record bench pressing and got hugely sick. Again. **** you body. Just started back up last night, not looking forward to Monday.
Anyway...

My goal is destroying my arms from now on.
Oh, and I'm looking into buying a house, but now it looks like it's going to the short sale side of things. ****ing people and their money problems.
Anyone else just toss a little soap and water into the blender and turn it on for a few seconds to clean it? Usually works like a charm for me.
I also use the Hamilton Beach personal blender. There's a sippy cup lid for after you've finished blending so you just drink right out of it. Same idea as the mason jar if I'm understanding that correctly. Fits great in a vehicle cupholder too. Can't go wrong for $15 at Walmart.

Well, you're young enough that you should spring back once your body decides to stop misbehaving. Just be careful not to get overzealous and train your arms too hard--you don't want to add them to your injury list. Try not to get too frustrated.
My back has been screwed up for the past 18 months such that it hurts to sit for longer than 15 minutes at a time, I'd had tendonitus in my right elbow since May, and two weeks ago my hernia repair from 18 years ago starting bothering me, and something went wrong with my right knee. My last leg/ab session consisted of leg curls and calf raises, since that's about all I can do right now.
On the plus side, I'm not dead. And I'm pretty sure my left elbow is still okay. And maybe the toes on my right foot . . .
I'm going on vacation for a week, and will probably take another week or two off to see if I can stop from disintegrating. The funny thing is, I was doing well until just a couple years ago, and then my warranty apparently ran out.

Would guess that to be a good choice. Have not tried the Breville juicer, but have enjoyed using the Breville one-touch tea maker for a while now. Built well, works as advertised and have not had any problems after many many uses.

I had the Breville juicer for a while, and it was a pain to clean, but one of the more efficient juicers on the market, in addition to having one of the best motors available. My ex-wife worked at Williams-Sonoma, so I became pretty familiar with Breville products--they are top-notch across the board.
Second page bump...
I took this photo last Sunday moments before it started raining again.

Nice picture KBKB :)
Hey all. 2nd page bump.
I did some hiking over the weekend. Since my return to hiking after the knee surgery, my longest trip has been about 7 miles. I decided to push it up a little and planned a 10 mile loop in South Mountain taking the Alta Trail - Bajada Trail loop. This is a little used section of the park because the road that leads to the trail head is closed all the time except for the first weekend of each month. The hike was 9.82 miles and took me 4 hours 35 minutes. The climb was about 1300 feet, mostly switchbacks. At about the 9 mile mark, I hit the wall. I felt weak and sluggish and had to sit down for about 15 minutes, eat a granola bar, drink some water and just chill. After that, I was able to finish up but was exhausted and did pretty much nothing the rest of the day. I still have some work to do.
Here's some pics.
This is a pic from the trail head. Great view of the Estrella Mountains looking west.

Looking south. I'm at the top of the Ma Ha Tauk range. The range on the left is the Guadalupe and the right is the Gila.

Bajada Trail. This is the Ma Ha Tauk range. I took the previous pics from the high point. This is the way back. You hike between the 2 ranges.

Sounds like pretty good progress even though you were tired near the end. How did your knee feel when you were done?
