people think bodybuilders are nasty, but in reality they're fat lumps who wish they were even partially aesthetic
title says it all but seriously u tell anyone a bodybuilding goal or if u wana get in shape n then they get mad jeolous etc lets discuss truly why
Cause basically, people that have muscle get more attention then them and they get jealous, that is basically all there is to it. Jealousy
As long as your not on about Pro Bodybuilders

What's wrong with pro bodybuilders?
title says it all but seriously u tell anyone a bodybuilding goal or if u wana get in shape n then they get mad jeolous etc lets discuss truly why
they are unaware.
What's wrong with pro bodybuilders?
word im really thinking of being pro however i will take no steriods whats wrong with pros
What's wrong with pro bodybuilders?
Personally nothing...Physically....they look like monsters (I'm on about the modern day roid heads)
There isn't a ''dislike'' towards bodybuilders here :/
Personally nothing...Physically....they look like monsters (I'm on about the modern day roid heads)
and whats wrong with looking like a monster? I have massive respect for them, the time and effort they put into the sport is incredible.
and whats wrong with looking like a monster? Usually only men are the ones who don't like bodybuilders. Most of the time (99%), its because they are jealous. Personally, I don't like people who THINK they are bodybuilders....like the guys that come up to you (that you know) that see that you have been lifting, and they obviously do a little too, and they go.....whats your bench bro!
and whats wrong with looking like a monster? I have massive respect for them, the time and effort they put into the sport is incredible.
i totally agree. but for someone who doesn't lift, being that big seems like too much. i was looking at flex magazine in a 7/11 with phil heath on the cover, and my friend walked over and said phil looked like an idiot. people just don't get it for some reason
Who says bodybuilders are hated? Everybody has a different personality regardless of whether you lift or not. If there is any hate towards them it's generally jealously, although the bodybuilder stereotype is a shallow and vain person who only cares about looks, not true.
jealousy and preconceived notions. plain and simple.
if you're talking specifically about the people at your school and why the guys give you **** every day and tell you to stop showing off and why the girls are all over you (in some cases), it's because the guys are jealous and the girls notice you're the only one with muscle.
when people hear the word "bodybuilding" they imagine roided up freaks stepping onto a stage in a tiny posing suit tanned to hell and soaked in oil.
honestly, when somebody asks you, do they say "are you a bodybuilder?" no. they ask "do you go to the gym a lot?" or "do you lift weights?". people don't think of bodybuilding as a sport or a way of life. they think of it as this weird world full of cheaters and muscle heads.
fact is....they mirin. the whole world is jelly of us
definetly jealousy. i see it happen all the time

The first thing that pops into someone's mind when they hear bodybuilding is steroids. What they don't realize is that a lot of bodybuilders out there have never touched a needle in their lives. They don't understand the commitment it takes to live a bodybuilding lifestyle and how demanding it can be at times. The truth is: they are just jealous that they can't commit themselves to anything and decide that they are going to try to drag you down and keep you from acheiving your goals.
People are ignorant.
they are unaware.
Dis.
General public thinks:
1.If you're a bodybuilder you HAVE to take illegal substances to look like that.
2.Bodybuilders are a bunch of stupid people who only know how to "pick things up and put them down". (e.g.look at PF commercials).
A lot of the time, I think it's because they're jealous that BBers/Overall fitness people look like they lift because they follow a well balanced diet/training regime unlike the majority of people who buy Hydroxycut thinking they'll get ripped in 30 days by doing nothing.

i was at the local skate park (i dont skateboard) just chilling with a couple freinds and the owner of the skateshop across the street asked me and my friend "why do all you bodybuilding kids come and knockout skaters" it was lols and a huge compliments since at the time i was only working out for like 2 months feltgoodman.jpg
people cant do something themselves so they hate on others who can
A person with a ton of muscle mass isn't necessarily a bodybuilder. They could just be a different type of athlete, like I am. I never get asked if I'm a bodybuilder, but I do get asked what sports I play. I don't get stereotyped as a douchebag or anything because I don't carry myself like that.
That being said, bodybuilders are stereotyped as being steroid-abusing wanton pussy bitches who talk unnecessarily loudly while groaning moving weight of varying loads while continually eye-****ing themselves and not really contributing anything relevant in the grand scheme of things. If all bodybuilders acted like that, then I'd have to say that I wouldn't really like them, either.
You guys know better, though. They're just people who train to me: nothing more, nothing less.
Ignorant people accept being the "middle man" in terms of strength and physique because taking on a strict life style is too much for them. Although when I actually get to the size where I look like a bodybuilder it will be good that there aren't many others out there, just means more benefits for less people.

A lot of misconception is what it comes down too. You dont even know how many females are like I dont want protein, I dont wanna get huge. And thats not the case at all. Cartoons show the muscular guy as a Meathead who is a complete douchebag
Before I went to the gym I thought I was going to get laughed at for working out, and I think a lot of times people think they will get judged by those who are bigger/fit
Because there not educated in it. They think instantly of steroids and other banned substances.. If only they knew how much work it is on or off gear they would respect this lifestyle more than any other.
People don't seem to mind at all when I talk about "working out," "lifting," or "exercising," but once the word "bodybuilding" comes into play I start getting weird looks, as if they think I'm stupid for using that word since I'm not 300 pounds of solid muscle posing for judges. feelsbadman
because of non aesthetic synthol *******s
