if not just take some whey and a multi vitamin
Yep he should start off with some solid Whey, Multi and some Fish Oil. Before he gets into those supplements you want to make sure he has a solid diet and training routine.

i would think creatine is a safer option.
As its been said the basic's are what you want to stick to
Multi-All Purpose health/a base your other supplements can build upon

Fish Oil-Get in those extra/health fats
