I drink coffee on an empty stomach today and I felt really light headed, feeling like wanting to vomit and dizzy. This is the first time this happened to me. I usually drink coffee in the morning on an empty stomach and I am alright.

Drink some water and eat something.
I feel dizzy and light headed also, but it's because im in Aus and it's boxing day.
90% water in beer? my body doesn't agree with that statement. Discuss.
why do you think it was the coffee if you always do it and are fine?
Why dould you not conclude it was something else causing it?
I eat PB every day. IfI broke out in hives, I wouldnt conclude I had a peanut allergy because I ate PB today.
Absorption is somewhat delayed with food intake for any substance, but then again caffeine draws blood away from the digestive tract so food present in the GI tract is absorbed at a slower rate during when caffeine's affects are taking place.
On an empty stomach caffeine is quickly absorbed without hindrance from other molecules in the stomach, and so reaches peak blood concentration faster than when taken with food.
OP there is a thousand reasons this could have happened to you, how much sleep did you have ? what was your mood prior to drinking your coffee ?
I start working at 0430 everyday. I dont eat until 0800 which means i drink loads of coffee. I've never had a problem. Maybe just try to eat a spoonful or two of cottage cheese when you wake up.
