What have you noticed about this glutamine that makes it higher quality?
I have used supplements/Glutamine for a very long time and it definitely ranks as one of the better ones I have used. The main thing is the fineness of the powder even compared to other micronized versions I have used. It also mixes and disperses very well. It has a nice bitter taste, which in my experience means higher quality aminos. The price was good as well. Just a heads up post for anyone considering it. Hope this helps.

So not only does this glutamine do something, but it does more than the other glutamines you've used. Even though they're all just one compound: glutamine. And a bitter taste means it's a high quality amino acid. All of this makes sense, thanks for the review!
I bought the 100 serving tube and been using it for 2 months now, its the first time I've taken glutamine but I gotta say its actually working just like described and the price was actually lower then the other brands out there. Good stuff and I highly recommend it.

I normally don't lounge on the forum at 3am, but I see that it is mostly people who come to joke around and give terrible advice... and then they are all banned by the time I wake up.

So your saying its not good at all?

unless you are starving to death, it is worthless

Ahhh... I'm picking up on your sarcasm, very nice. I typically use Glutamine while cutting and particularly during the colder months, both for the muscle sparing and immune system boost. I do in fact realize that many feel it is worthless, but many also do see a benefit and I certainly always have. From using Glutamine for nearly 15 years it is quite apparent what it tastes like and it has concerned me when some don't taste this way. I hope that this helps someone who may be considering purchasing Glutamine, this would be a recommended one.

Supplemental glutamine is not muscle sparing. In fact, for bodybuilding purposes glutamine is worthless to supplement. Hate to break it to ya brother.
I've seen a lot of people who've used BodyBuilding.com's Glutamine have noted increased energy and focus. How about you? Lookin to pick some up too.

It won't provide either, that's placebo.
Doesnt boost immune system either.
Didn't think people still used Glutamine....guess there's a few. Like others have said Glutamine is garbage/placebo...this has been a well known fact for many years. I'm waiting for Colostrum to make a comeback lol....someone will say it works.

I haven't noticed these effects, but always have noticed less soreness, muscle sparing, and increased immune system from it. Like I stated earlier many say it is worthless, but I also know many who use and suggest it. I guess it comes down to personal preference.

It'd doesn't come down to opinion when SCIENCE has PROVEN otherwise lol. Welcome to placeboville, population: glutamine users. Neighboring cities: CLAville and HMBville.
There are some deluded people out there. This thread proves it. Can't wait to buy some sublingual testosterone later today....

Loving all of your great jokes here, thanks for those :)
I realized from the moment I wrote this thread that many would tout how Glutamine doesn't work, but I wanted to let those who do still use it know that this would be a recommended one.
While many people do things that science has shown not to work, or I don't think works... If it works for them, then great. I do nonetheless appreciate all of your opinions.

I wouldn't go quite that far. But I most certainly have seen results from Glutamine over many years in myself and others for the things I listed. Placebo or otherwise. I am quite sure you do things that I and others would consider not to work and/or be effective, but if they work for you, then awesome!

I do like the bunny mask! But seriously, I do realize that there are a lot of people that look the part who do not know a whole lot and/or can be detrimental to those that only see their outward results. I have always tried very hard to spread real and positive information to help others and I know that Glutamine is one of those supplements that many are divided on. I have however seen these results I mentioned in myself and others and if it can be helpful at a cost effective price, then great! It certainly isn't the first thing that I suggest, but if it can help while under a lot of physical stress and the immune system, particularly for someone like me who is around a lot of sick people at work, then great!
It most likely doesnt work.
I certainly agree that it has to be a very specific population for it to work. Thanks for all of your great input on a lot of the threads here Powercage, you certainly have helped a lot of people and that is great!

You are correct, the mind is so very powerful! I see people all the time doing what many would consider to be the worst program and getting great results and also the opposite! Quite amazing!
Im still waiting for someone to make the fireman/burn victim study connection.
