Timing and snacking is what need I need to start cleaning up in a week, need to get the PB intake in check. It is sad to say that I still eat a very clean diet since the show but good to say that I dont think I will need to start the hard dieting until 12 weeks from contest. I am only up 7lbs according to my scale in 6 weeks since the show and I would like to take that back off plus another 5 this time.

Mmmmmm PB.... what would I do without it..... trying to hit 3200 cals a day without PB would be torture!

I love my natty PB, but sometimes too much I think. In 6 weeks I have eaten 3.5 jars of it (each jar is 1kg )......the really bad part is that sometimes I dip my PB spoon into the butter dish and have the butter and PB together...yup, really, I do ....

Just back to work after 2 days off. It was nice to spend some time with the gf :) training kind of took a backseat though the past couple days lol
Tried hot yoga for the first time tonight...I have a hard time with the breathing but loved the sweat it gives you.

Why is it we are all addicted to PB? I can't keep the stuff anywhere that may become visable because I know if I see it, that one TBSP will turn into 3, or 4, or 5..............

Hot yoga is the best, the only downfall is whenever I do it as soon as Im home Im in bed for a 2 hour nap.

I am going to try to go Friday nights (cheap night) when my schedule allows. I think it will be very beneficial for my training. And the sweat is an all over sweat, it is great.
Random question, anyone on here part of the Canadian Forces?
I was for 9 years got some questions?
I'd like to be able to do a full set at my BW. I've never tested any of my 1RM :P
That is a gret goal, especially for functional strength. I think it would be great if everyone could bench their own weight 8+ times.
They frown upon using chalk, but people still use it.
You can just get on the trans canada by costco and be at the gym in dieppe within 10 minutes. I live off elmwood drive and it takes me like 6-8 minutes to get there depending on traffic. The closest for you would deff be Global.
Where r u off Elmwood, we might be neighbours lol?
Yeah I was told that for YMCA... How's Goodlife? I heard that it's not really Deadlift/Cleans friendly. Gonna let you know about trying but I'm by the Costco so Goodlife Dieppe not really the closest for me.
Went to the Y for a while, always packed. Free weight section is packed, hard to do what you want, always waiting lots of machines and caardio though and they do have the pool and all the extras if you want that. I work out at home now but will be going to Global in the new year, they're open 24 hrs and since i'm on shift work, that works for me.
I would definitely take advantage of that, If you have a benefits package through work you can burn up the rest of this years benefits this month. I'm getting deep tissue massage every week :D
will look into deep tissue very soon, back still hurting a lot, esp in the mornings...takes me a few hrs to get stretched out and moving without too much pain
Biking!!! I mountain bike and after every session my legs are sore and swollen as hell... a great workout!

Have you tought about Starting Strenght? I know it's Strenght gains oriented but it has done wonders for my legs just by doing for 1-2 months. If you are not familiar with it check this link :

There is even a link for an Excell Calculator.
Haven't tried it but read the link. My squat form is getting better so I think I'm going to add them back in. I love squats anyway.
have you tried the total opposite, higher weight less reps
Yes, I have. I don't go light weight, high rep. I use about 70-80% of 1RM on high reps.

I'm optomistic that you will see great results, heres a stretch I do every morning during or after i shower, then again after training.
The trick is to go deeper into it and as your hammys loosen up and you will begin to feel it more throughout your back. Goodluck bro!

Riggs you can take that one step further if you like. There is a yoga move where you can place your hands palms up under your feet. It stretches out wrists and forearms as well as the back. The looser your hammies get the more you will be able to straighten your legs (to which I am no where near straight legged yet)
