seriously dude just get calf implants like that guy on MTV's true life....
jk, up the cals, up the weight, lower the reps, work them on different machines and stretch them properly on off days, it will come slowly but surely.

Bump.
I actually have a problem gettin my calfs to grow to. There not small, but I'm not workin them so they stay the same size. I want them bigger!!
i have **** calf genetics too. I work them 2-3 times a wk alternating between heavy weight low rep & lighter weight higher rep. They are stubborn but are slowly growing.
Try this: (What I do.) Right after your calf work out take a short run any were from a half mile to a mile and realy concentrate on runing on your tip toes and using your calf muscles as much as possible.
Calf size is extremely dependant upon genetics. Im lucky and I got big calves from my mom's side of the family. All you can do is switch up your routine, and work them really hard since they have incredible endurance. Also you should work them multiple times per week, as they can recover quickly.
my dad has such nice calves and yet mine suck so its not all genetics
I honestly dont know what to tell you mine have sucked for a while and will suck for a long time to come
your tall so thats gonna be a big handicap.. i know my calves are terrible. My arms are the same size as my calves LOL
In my experience.. lowering the weight and getting a full range of motion for higher reps helped my calves. Dont lower the weight too much, just enough so that you can do sets of about 20.
My calves are my biggest (in proportion to others, ie. not bigger than quads) and most defined muscle on my body, they also grow easy, my pecs aren't so easy though. I've also been playing ice hockey for 8 years though.

What about your mom? What about your grandfathers, grandmothers? Just because your dad has big calfs doesn't mean you will.
yea switch up with high weight and lower reps and then low weight and high reps. make sure you get full range of motion. then try some unweighted calf raises on a step for about 30 reps. jump roping may help to as your jumping with your calf muscle doing most the work
its pretty much genetics, my calves at 18" :) it took me likes 4-6weeks to add 1" to it...
my mum has some chunky arse calfs, she has very low body fat but big chunky claves. my dad has chiken legs, smaller ankles then mine but has worked his calves to be quite big.
hmmm so where does that put me, my calves arnt to bad a size, but there probly my worst part, i have neevr hit em hard enough to see if they will grow but i intend to.
the secret is that calfs can take a good beating...since ur legs are moving the whole day, u shuldnt train them lightly like u do for other muscles.
this helps ALOT- walk around on ur toes most of the day or even when your walking normally just raise ur heels up a bit and make it regular.
also when u do work them out, do heavy weight low rep and light weight high rep a mix of both and do it till it burns!! dont whimp out
and most importantly you gotta get enough protien/carbs/ other important vitamins etc or they wont grow, I had small calfs about 2 weeks ago, but they have grown approx 2 cm a week and still growing with this routine. and work them out 2-3 times a week and make sure you BURN THEM OUT.
if u can still walk properly or not feel any pain it means u didnt work em enough. Yu gotta get that painfull stretch feeling the next day then you know u did a good job
