Sharp right tricep pain.
When I do tricep exercises I get a sharp pain in my right tricep almost near my armpit. I have been working through it in hope that it was just the muscle being worked and it would repair and make me stronger, but today the pain was near unbearable. It is almost in the arm pit and feels similar to the burn and in the same place that this stretch gives you. (the elbow over the shoulder one)

Does anyone know what this pain could be or how I can minimize/recover from it? Thanks in advance.

Never try to work through the pain. If it hurts, then your body is telling you there is a problem and you need to fix it. The hard part is what is the problem, and how do I fix it.
I'm in a similar situation only the pain is near my elbow (when I work tri's). As much as I hate it, I'm attempting to not work it, or anything attached to it for a few weeks to see if that helps. I suggest you try the same.
If you got insurance/can afford it, go see a doctor. This is probably the best thing to do, even if it turns out to be nothing.
