Hey guys,
My buddy and I are having a friendly bodybuilding competition for motivation and basically just for fun. We figured making a thread on here would be the best way to get a good result rather then trying to figure out a winner between us.
Originally there were 3 guys but the third wasnt able to make it due to work.
Were judging on: muscularity, definition, and symmetry.
Here is a little background story on how this came to be. The three of us have been in the gym since we were in high school and we decided to make a friendly competition to get some extra motivation between our regular lives and full time jobs. We are both 27 years old and the only supplements we take are whey protein, creating, and a pre-workout.
As far as weight and size measurements we are both basically the same. Were both 510 and both within a few pounds of each other at 180lbs.
Measurements: Cold not flexed arms down on each side
**GUY 1**
Height: 510
Weight: 180lbs
Chest: 42 ½
Waist: 34
Mid-thigh: 23 Ύ
Calf: 16 ½
Shoulders: 47
Arms (Biceps): 15 Ό (16 1/8 flexed)
Neck: 15
**GUY 2**
Height: 510
Weight 177lbs
Chest: 41 Ύ
Waist: 33 Ό
Mid-Thigh: 24 Ό
Calf: 15
Shoulders: 48
Arms (Biceps): 15 (161/8 flexed)
Neck: 15
CLIFFS
-Friendly competition between friends
-Similar height/weight/measurements
-Judge on Muscularity, definition and symmetry
Cheers and thanks for voting! Were going to declare our winner on December 22 at 12:00 Mountain time.
Feel free to comment, critique.
Thanks again!
Ok so 1 looks better, but do you have starting stats and how long was the competition. 1 might look better but he also may have made very little progress because of a better starting body. Just interested in knowing all the facts.

Thanks for the interest and comment!
We made the poll to rate our current look, it's not really a "who made more progress" poll. Especially since we both figured that it was a level playin field being on oppisite sides of the spectrum.
But to put a little more history behind it we have both been weight training since high school and both of us have gotten more serious in our 20's in regards to nutrition. We both ended up being out of the gym for a little over a year due to getting caught up with school/work/life all together. The third guy was in te gym the whole time but not as serious as we were.
About 14-15months ago we decided to do this competition, one of us was getting too soft and fat and the other was getting way too skinny. The third guy got a little more serious when we decided to have the competition.
Well we got 88 votes so far. Maybe we can crack 100 by Saturday.
Bump!
Bump, poll closes in 2 hours
Sweet! 5 more votes till 100.
Feel free to make comments.. I noticed there is a lot for guy 1 but not too many for guy 2.
Well looks like "guy 1" by a lot..
Thanks for all the votes and comments! Looking forward to next year!
I'd vote 1 for chest, back and arms
I'd vote 2 for abs and pecs
Number 1 - but the mid section is a tad soft.
Both of ya need to learn how to pose though.
Great motivating contest though - this is what bodybuilding is about, to me.
