I think 1-3 months.
it took me a good 3 months to get from 15% to 11-12% (though I was on and off). Now i'm trying really hard to get to 8%, and it's really really difficult.
Ya it takes a while
Only been cutting 2 weeks here, see a lil results alrdy
i dont see how it could take 3 months.. thats like 30 pounds.
1 month sounds about right to me, assuming you were hella dedicated.
The real answer is, depends on how good you do it, the bigger the deficit and the more consistent the protein intake, the faster.
c'mon guys 3 months that's a lot, i remember droping from 21% to 11% in 7 weeks...
so i would say probably about 4 or 5 weeks but it depends of your metabolism and your diet
What i actually did was to stop carbs completly, i know that was kinda rough but it really worked.
i had almost only protein in every meal.
Hope i helped ;)
it took me 3 months to go from 18% to whatever im now, lost 30lbs so far

You didn't help because a) the more fat you have, the more you can afford to lose/faster it comes off. As you go lower in body fat, it becomes increasingly difficult and the results come slower; and b) Post before/after pics of 21% to 11% BF.

Plus if you've been dieting all along, your bmr has probably dropped off some too.

Good catch..
I generally sit at around 6% (lowest last year was 5.1) but got lazy around Christmas and put on a little so decided to make the best of a bad situation, cut out all the cardio and just lift. Have gained a few pounds of muscle mass but currently sitting at 9%bf. Holidays in 5 weeks and I'v set myself a target of 5.5% bf inside 5wks. Will be tough going but I have a job which can help me achieve this and as long as diet is clean for these 5 weeks it should be achievable.
