What are your goals? It's a fairly high calorie protein powder generally used by people bulking. Tastes pretty good.
There's better stuff out there though for most purposes.

i want the bodybuiler body.to be bulky and have cuts too.lol something like how Michael Jai White is built.
High in fat. But it taste great!
Very tasty meal replacement :)
I generally stick with Muscle Milk Light since I am trying to cut. It tastes great.

Nice choice. I forgot they made Muscle Milk lite!
I only tried the MM light and didn't like the taste. I did really like Myogenix Myolean Evolution though. Good protein, good taste, without the huge hordes of fats and carbs.

Oh yeah! Root Beer MuscleMilk is incredible :D
I prefer extra MSG wth my Muscle Milk :D
thanks for the input guys,so basicly MM is only good if you wanna bulk?

It's high in calories, so basically yes.
Look for a lean protein such as Muscle Gauge Isolate/Blend or XF Whey or ON or really most standard protein powders on the market.
The XF is the best tasting of the leaner ones, Myofusion is slightly less lean but very tasty and much better than Muscle Milk macro wise for cutting.
cant believe the stupid **** being said in this thread. 12 grams of fat is a lot? really? Even if you are cutting thats still fine. Some people just dont get it and youd think with 4000 posts you might learn something on this forum. Muscle Milk is completely fine no matter what your goals are. I used it on a cut and got ripped, its all about total daily calories not the bull**** these idiots are trying to preach. i cant stand it. MM is one of the best tasting proteins and if you use a half serving in milk you have yourself a very good MRP with decent protein content that isnt too costly. /thread
I can't hear you ^^^ all that RED is blurring all that garbage!
good one...care to tell me how im wrong? OP first thing you need to look at for credibility on these forums is join date...not rep points....obviously. its like a blowjob popularity contest
It's high in calories, so basically yes/
Or on the other hand it makes a near perfect MRP. It has a variety of fats, proteins, carbs, including vitamin/minerals and fiber. Sounds like a great shake for people dieting to me.
I don't use muscle milk. It tastes o.k.- not fantastic like stated. All the whey cinamon bun, oats and milk blows it away x 10. It has complex protein though and I guess it works. The problems are that it is rediculously priced per shake in 7 eleven- like $4 I think and even when you got a steal for $20 a tub, it is still $1.40 each. Whey at $30/ 5 lbs is 80 servings of 30g protein or 38 cents each. Maltodextrin is $1/ lb in bulk. Not to mention, I don't want to be forced to slug down sugar when it is not needed. If I go for dinner at a restaurant, I might need a little protein and no carbs, muscle milk just does not fit into the mix.
Oh and the douche above, DONTBEADICK!
thanks everyone! i will definitly try some MM the next time i go to the store.

It also has a large amount of saturated fat, which has a negative impact on cholesterol! ;)

I would recommend you buy MM in powder rather than drink the RTD's. The RTD's have more fat and calories which can cause your daily calories to get too high.
I used to us it for my pre workout meal/ game. I liked it a lot, I have never been able to eat a good meal before lifts or games so I gave this a shot and it worked well.

thanks alot for that,i was going to get the drink at first,i'll try the powder then.

Your body converts saturated fat to cholesterol for testosterone synthesis so you need some. 6 grams isn't a lot and they do come from MCT's which are burned as energy fairly fast so I doubt it would contribute anything negative. I really don't think you can make a case for MCT's doing anything unhealthy to your body. Besides, it has fiber which has a positive effect on cholesterol.

lol, I do agree with you but I think it should be rationed. So, for someone new to this I don't like seeing them hooked on just one kind of protein and end up consuming a large amount of it and therefore consuming too much of the saturated fats. I get plenty in my diet so I like the leaner options, but I agree that MCT's do have their use!

Fair enough. It's probably not wise to have more than 1 shake a day for most people. Anything more than that and you would have to strictly control your diet and that's never fun.

300 cals 12 g fat isn't that much.My favorites are the peach mango, choc mint chip and cookie dough.

Agreed, moderation is what is important. A little bit of fat won't hurt you (and is needed) but a little bit of fat consumed often enough can kill ya!

Agree and choc mint tastes great.
IMO, and not to sound rude or degrading or anything, but just constructive critiscism, I'd avoid Muscle Milk all together at your current weight. Focus on healthy eating and proper training first, then look into supplementation. Stuff does taste amazing though

It's a great product. Even if just once per day, say in like some oatmeal in the mornings. But what slut said is some good advice also.
