doesnt matter....meal timing doesnt mean a thing
Well, I would say preference - simply because I don't want to feel sluggish and/or the food sitting in my stomach.
I usually go an hour after eating.
It's a matter of personal preference and confort.
I usually wait an hour at least, otherwise I'll be burping it up

Somewhere inbetween however long it takes to train without discomfort, and however long you can go without food before being hungry interferes with your training.
I train first thing in the morning, and I often neck a small protein drink as I'm starting to stretch & warm-up.
However, if I've eaten a proper meal, I give it 2hrs at least.
