NCAA banned supplements?
I got a sample pack of C4 Extreme and noticed on the back it had an "athletic disclosure?" It said that due to strict regulations of various sports leagues that you should consult whatever governing body that oversees the appropriate the organization. So my question is, are there are pretty common supplements that are banned by the NCAA? I imagine stuff like pro-hormones is probably banned but are any pre's a no go?

rather than ask an anonymous bb forum what is banned in NCAA, why not look for yourself?

it needs to be in HUGE quantities though. just dont go overboard/use a pre-workout the night before you tinkle

there are a lot of supplements banned by the NCAA. im pretty sure they have creatine banned as well..... its so dumb, just because they dont want to do the research on the supplements they have to ban them. smh

drink a cup of strong coffee before you get tested, and you'll fail.

i would consider that a strong dose of caffeine though...but thats just me
-
In on this. If caffeine is banned wtf CAN you consume?
-
Also make sure it doesn't contain any 1,3-Dimethylamylamine (or Geranium oil).
It's caused more than a few athletes issues (e.g., Jack3d, the old 1MR, etc.)
i would consider that a strong dose of caffeine though...but thats just me
majority of Americans have at least 1 cup of java daily.
i don't ever hear anyone refer to this morning cup o joe as "a HUGE quantity of caffeine!"..
:p
In on this. If caffeine is banned wtf CAN you consume?
once you understand the half-life of caffeine, you will know to avoid such ingredient for 3-7hrs (depending on individuality) before testing occurs and you will be good to go. :)

but now you're just skewing the issue.
Muscle Pharm does indeed use caffeine, yes?
therefore, not free of NCAA banned substances.
