I was lucky enough to get a full tub and run a log for Universal. I did 2 scoops per workout. These are my thoughts
Taste - 10/10 - Clyde's Hard Lemonade - It took me a little bit to get the right ratio of scoops and water. About 20 oz of water with 2 scoops with some ice cubes made it perfect. Hard lemonade is the best way to describe it. Its not sweet but not really sour either, it has bite to it. I enjoyed it very much and would drink it as a regular drink if it was available.
Mix - 8.5/10 - I used my blender ball shaker cup to mix this. It would always mix very well but there was always a cloud down at the bottom. I could always see little bits and pieces at the bottom and I didn't want to waste any of my PWO drink.
Ingredients - 10/10 - I think it has everything you need for a PWO.
Pump - 9.5/10 - I couldn't give it a solid 10 but the pumps were amazing. Especially when I did arm workouts. The muscle would get so engorged with blood I would have to shake my arm to get it out so I could continue to workout. I couldn't get full range of motion otherwise.
Energy - 8.5/10 - it was never a burst of energy or overwhelming but I could feel it. It was smooth, clean energy and it lasted throughout my entire workout. I really liked that there wasn't a crash afterwards. My workouts can last up to 1.5 hours and is a mixture of weights and cardio right now.
Strength - 9/10 - I'm doing the Kris Gethin 12 week transformation workout so its hard to really evaluate this but I never felt weak doing any exercise but I was consistently gaining in all exercises I was doing.
Focus - 8/10 - I would say this is the weakest link to the PWO, I was always ready to hit the gym but I didn't have tunnel vision like I've had with other PWO's.
Endurance - 10/10 - I was very impressed with this aspect. I was concerned about doing 20 min of cardio before and after hitting the weights. I thought I wouldn't have the energy or strength to do the entire workout, but I did and it exceeded my expectations. My last workout was 2 hours long and I finished just as strong as I started.
Overall - 9/10 - only thing thats holding it back is that I basically have to take 2 servings to do my workouts, but for those who can take one this is an excellent PWO and everyone should give it a try. I know you can get free samples of Shock Therapy and you shouldn't pass it up.
Thanks again Universal, another solid product to add to my ever growing supplement stack.
