That's beautiful. Anyone know where to do download this song? Lux Aeterna is on the soundtrack, but it isn't this version.
I'd post a link but I can't because of post count restrictions.
Google: Video to MP3
Choose the first option, voila.
Cheers
What I have found to be very motivating, which many of you will percieve as odd, is listening to arabic music. Puts me into a trance, and since I dont listen to that kind of music anywhere else the music has associated itself with working out. It seems to be very effective for me!
Really Arabic?
I would say that there's two types of motivational music. The first type - because of the beat/sound/etc gets your blood flowing like you're on fire. The second type is due to Lyrics - stuff that hits home. Most of the first type (that I use, such as Nickelback/12 Stones/etc) has been posted, but if you want good Lyrics, I would suggest:
The Impossible Dream - Man of La Mancha
Adrenaline - 12 Stones
Animal I Have Become - Three Days Grace
Anthem for the Underdog - 12 Stones
Are you Ready - Three Days Grace
Be Somebody - Kings of Leon
Belief - Gavin DeGraw
Bleed it Out - Linkin Park
Break the Ice - Britney Spears
Breaking Inside - Shinedown
Brokenpromiseland - Bon Jovi
Defying Gravity - Wicked Soundtrack
Don't Mess With Me - Whitesnake
Don't Stop Dancing - Creed
Dreamer - Chris Brown
Enjoy The Ride - Trailer Choir
Fight Like A Girl - Bombshel
Get off my Back - Bryan Adams (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron Soundtrack)
Get up offa that Thing - James Brown
Go Daddy-O - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Go The Distance - Hercules Soundtrack
Harder to Breathe - Maroon 5
Hoedown Throwdown - Miley Cyrus (Yeah - I know - but this is fun when jumproping!)
I Could Kick Your Ass - Justin Moore (Country)
I Dare You - Shinedown
I Don't Care - Apocalyptica (Love this group)
I Feel Good - James Brown
I Got My Game On - Trace Adkins
I Own You - Shinedown (Top 5 Favorites of mine. This is how you tell yourself that YOU are in charge.)
I Will Survive - The Replacements Soundtrack
I'll Make A Man Out Of You - Mulan Soundtrack
I'm a Soldier - Enimem
I'm on my Way - Kellie Pickler (Really good motivational song about the progress you're making)
Innocence - Avril Lavigne
It's Not Over - Chris Daughtry
It's Your Life - Fancesca Battistelli (From the Biggest Loser Soundtrack.)
There's the list, A - I. That should be enough to get you started.
I gotta agree with you on the "I'll make a man out of you" song from Mulan.
It's not a great song if you are Mongolian but hey.
Question:
What songs do you listen to when you work out?
Whats your playlist that keeps you motivated and the blood flowing?
pre-workout?
running?
lifting?
I thought a thread based on what people listen to might help other people stay motivated
(if there is a tread based on this arleady. I am sorry. first day here)
Was a great idea! We've put a playlist from ideas here and clients love it! Thanks for instituting some motivation into our gym.

great thread, now my play-list is even longer.

Any "Of Mice & Men" song. My favorite would be "This one's for you". You might not like the lyrics, but the beat and screams will DEFINITELY get you pumped.
My second choice would probally be "August Burns Red", favorite song.. Composure.
Those 2 happen to be my alltime favorites.

so many good songs in this thread!
