no but you being too fat does. I don't necessarily mean that towards you but everytime "in real life" I see someone who says "it's the creatine making me bloat" they are full of crap and too fat.
Read up how creatine works...we do know exactly how it works we don't have to guess on this question fortunately.

Yes, creatine will make your face bloat. It's only temporary though. I've noticed that after around 5 days coming off it my face begins to thin out to normal and then goes back to normal in the week after. could be contributed to more fluid retention. Been using creatine for about 7 years on and off (mostly on). Hope this helps

When I first tried creatine years ago in the Phos****en days, the heaping teaspoons of the recommended loading and suggested maintenance phase caused me to retain water throughout my body but most noticable was in the face. Taking a look a pics .... and pics don't lie. :o

The main side effect from creatine is potentially a GI upset, but if you're at around 3-5g/day it shouldn't occur.

I don't believe creatine by itself should cause any bloating.. doesn't bloat me.
Most of the people I've encountered who claim it made them bloated were also taking it with excessive amounts of dextrose or some other similar sugar.. or were loading with 10+ grams a day.. along with excessive amounts of destrose or some other similar sugar.
Go figure..

as i say everytime... i can be wrong... but the 1st reason to bloating is high carb intake
Yea it made my face bloat when i was loading with 20grams a day for a week... As i went down to 5g/day my face started going back to normal. I have done this about 5 times now so yea it happened to me. Idk about how it works for everyone
Been using it for 20 years...and yes every time it makes my face bloated. Regardless of the serving size and if there is a loading phase or not.
I take only 5gr daily for 2 months and 30 days off, only different I notice is in strength and arm size!
