Ice Cream Every Night
Is it possible to fit in 400 calories worth of ice cream every night without getting fat, I need 2500 calories a day , lets say 2100 come from nutrient packed , not insulin spiking, unprocessed stuff , and the other 400 come from the local ice cream shop right by me
I run 22-25 Miles a Week and workout 4 Days a week
I know if it fits into your macros your fine, but i feel like this could be different what do you guys think

why would it be different...the only problem i see is that u are getting it from a local ice cream shop and therefore are not actually measuring out the food yourself...so it may add up to be more than 400 cals...buts that really nit picking...there is no way u will have a net gain of body fat if u stay within your calorie range regardless of the food you eat

How about you try to figure that out with your own calculations?
This forum is going downhill so fast...9 out of 10 threads don't lead to any discussion and just some bullsh't..."can I eat this?"..."what's this IIFYM thing?"..."will pasta make me fat?"
-
Fit it within your targeted cals/macros. You'll be fine.
I have 2-3 scoops (B&J Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) just about every night:D

Artic zero ice cream 150 Cals a pint best. ****. Ever.

I make sure I have extra macros at the end of most days for making my own ice cream at home. I just blended up a batch of almond butter dark chocolate cheesecake and its in the fridge until I'm ready to toss it in the IC maker later on. I look forward to it daily.

If you gain fat on 2500 calories running 25 miles a week you're a wizard
-
I believe it is definitely possible OP. I fit in 350-400 cal worth of ice cream a day myself so I don't think you shouldn't be able to with some manuevring of your macros and food selections.

god dammit i wish i could have some ice cream

Unless ice cream contains allergens that prevent you from eating it, I don't see why you can't...

This. I thought those cals looked very low for that much activity. Tried the arctic zero very unimpressed. Not much flavor

The past month I've had all carb sources come from processed and refined foods (vanilla pudding, graham crackers, sweets, etc) as opposed to my usual oats, potatoes, rice...and no difference on the scale or in the mirror. Only getting leaner and seeing the weight come down slowly :). Oh and setting a few PRs along the way. So OP, pick whatever foods you want. Stop worry about little things like fitting in ice cream. Get your macros/calories in and make sure you get your micros in too.

Love that! OP, ice cream is fine. I have myself a pint almost every other night (that's ~1080 calories right there), although I do make sure to slam down the protein shakes hard on these days to make up much of the remaining allotted cals. Ice cream is also on par with milk in terms of calcium absorption. A growing kid needs his calcium. :)

eat dat icecream man, you stay sane longer and it doesnt interfere with any of the nutritional needs, cals in cals out. good eating.

My dad owns a ice cream / milkshake / frozen yogurt store. I plan to fit in a frozen yogurt every single day. :D
-
Eat some ice cream. Heck, if it is made will real products (milk, eggs, real chocolate or fruit, etc) it might not even have a half way decent micronutrient profile.
