I did my first 100 in one go recently!
Really want to take it up. So how good do you think it is? (ie calories, definition, etc)

Yes, one set.

Nah. Not a god. In P.E. for our exam we had to do 100 in two minutes to get an A. It's very possible.
...watchin' the fatties struggle for three was funny, though.

haha i know people that cant do one, its embarssing to watch, best i did was 70 in a set but i was absolutly dead after that
thats amazing lol. most i can do in 1 set is around 50, 75 if its 3X 25. I usually just do them till failure after chest/triceps workout to make sure i did my max.

I've hit 150 in one set before. After that, it stung, but I did another set like 30 minutes later.
...though, I don't do pushups typically. I was just besting my friend. He can bench more than me, but I said I could do twice as many pushups as he could. ...so I did.
I wonder how many push ups jay or ronnie can do lol.

Probably not as many as you think. With that kind of size, I bet they lack flexibility, so getting all the way down may be difficult.

Yeah thats why I said it. Would be funny to watch em.

That's a lot. Military entry requirements are like 40 push ups in two minutes (not even in one set).

I'd imagine it's their massive weight that'd hamper the number of push ups they can do. Having a lot of muscle doesn't make you inflexible.
Can we talk about the benefits please.
BTW, its not only "fatties" who can only do three. Skinnies with no muscle who smoke and drink all the time, combined with no exercises, can only do that too.

Wow. That's depressing. We had to do AT LEAST 100 to get an A on our exam.
...and my muscle makes me inflexible, but that's also because I refuse to stretch. I never hurt myself, but I can't move well.

...I can't tell which is funnier. Watching the skinny kid struggle or watching the fat kid struggle.
At lease the fat kid will turn into muscle eventually, the skinny kid will....appear on a charity ad on tv :D

What?
Put some weight on your back and / or do them more slowly on the negatives. On the positives, push your body straight into the air with your feet still planted, going as high as you can.

OMG, you are so retarded, seriously educate yourself you stupid f*ck

and push ups are only good for endurance, they will not build mass whatsoever.

dude havent u heard? fat can turn into muscle!!! it was on the last issue of bull**** weekly.
but seriously pushups are good for building mass when u do it weighted.
or when u start doing them for the first time cause when u start off u can usually only do 5.
after u can do 20 more it is pretty much useless. unless you do explosive pushups. but for it to create hypertrophy it usuaully has to be in about 20 seconds of work time and must tire you out.
when i didnt have weights i would do pushups where i clap and would do them as fast as i can so i tire myself out.

Yeah i know but these guys are talking about doing 100-300
lol wut
Do them weighted, do diamonds, do elevated, depth, inbetween-benches (which are one of the best chest exercises), clap pushups for more explosiveness which may help in lifts. Normal pushups = pretty much no benefit for bodybuilding after you can do that many.
