Too bad we didn't submit yesterday... I dropped 4 lbs last night. Dat Christmas water.
Starting at 229. 199 is my goal for this comp... 10 lbs/month is a tough challenge, but I feel confident.
Very similar starting point and goal.

I'm going to be silently competing against you and judging you for your progress. Let the games begin, I'm not submitting my start weight until 1st though.

What's your goal before you start a bulk?
What's your goal before you start a bulk?
I'll be starting a bulk either; when I look like I need to or when I reach 190. If I start looking lean enough or malnourished before 190 I'll bulk. Ideally I'd bulk from 200 but I'm willing to go lower if I need to.

Sounds good man. Healthy competition is what it's all about. Iron sharpens iron!
I need to get my ass into the gym. I've used every excuse in my arsenal to avoid it for the past 14 months since getting a new job (and long hours) and I'm sick of it. This is exactly what I need to light that fire in my pajamas.
Sweet, cool to see you're still doing these krete77.
After a tough year full of emotional turmoil and really getting everything else in my life in check, I feel I'm finally in the best place I've ever been to be prepared to do one of these. So, let's bring it on. 2013 is my year.
I'll get a starting weight on Jan 1 - should likely be around 330.

yeahhhhh buddy! great to have you back Kelekin!!! old school name droppin baby
Good evening all;
I've updated the spreadsheet tonight with all of the submissions I have received thus far. If your name does not appear on the spreadsheet, then you did not submit correctly. I'm not a stickler about the exact format (ie; just sending your name and a number will suffice), however if you do not put this info in the subject line then I will NOT read it. I can't go clicking through hundreds of PMs to get information. I need it all in the subject so I can download it all at once.
So please, make it easier on me, thanks.
As far as the submissions to come, please submit on Sundays. Anytime on Sundays will do. However, like I said in the original post of this thread, if you miss the first submission, you will be dropped permanently, no questions asked. I will simply ignore your PM. This is to separate the people who are serious and who aren't. Don't got the time to fart around with people who aren't serious. Obviously, if there is emergency situations, then I will allow it.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions for the spreadsheet please direct them my way.
Thanks.

Information submitted. Thanks again for running this!
I'm changing everything about myself starting today (well actually the day before yesterday). I've dropped all the booze, got a solid work out plan and started eating healthier. Since I got myself a new job, I've also changed around my wardrobe a lot. I'll be a completely new ME at the end of this competition.
Have fun all and hope everybody sticks with it.
I'll hop on into this, Starting a cut on January 1st anyway.. may as well make it fun.
Current: 212lbs Body Fat: 20%
Goal: 185lbs Body Fat: 10%

Yes, same way you signed up with the PM and title format will be how you submit weekly weigh-ins. They are going to be every Sunday.

Thanks.
All in! goal is 60-65lbs..
Good Luck to everyone, hope y'all achieve or surpass your goals!
Cannot stress enough that if you miss the first weigh-in, you are gone for good.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
I'm in. I tried competitions like this before with much success early on but gained it all back. I need the motivation. I want to stick it to it.

first weigh in is 1/6/13 correct?
In. I always join these things but drop out lol. In this one 'till the end. Made barely any progress this last month, this'll be good to keep me on track. Good luck everyone.
Haven't really quit or given up yet, but I just haven't had the mental focus to stay with my diet for more than a day or two.
Good thing is I haven't put on any weight and all my shirts are fitting tighter through the shoulders, chest and upper back area so I must be doing something right.
Just need to get more focused on my nutrition so that my stomach gets smaller.
Starting from a little over 200 and I'd like to drop down to the 180s give or take by the spring.
I need to get my focus back and make this happen.
Pretty depressing being the heaviest person. I blame it on being quite tall and having heavy bones or something. :p

It just means you have a lot more potential for weight loss. Shoot to win this thing!

Aye.
I was pretty fit once, presumably I can (eventually) get there again.
In your profile picture are playing for/against the Essex blades by any chance?

No it's the Nottingham Outlaws when I was playing for Cov Uni. You play? Coach?

I did play for a short while but had to give it up. Great fun though, I was D-line.

I play D line. Moved to O line last year when I got up to 280lbs. Part of the reason I'm getting in better shape is so I can play D line again.

Yea I'm not sure why I was put on D and not O given my size - I preferred it though so didn't complain. Admittedly I still prefer rugby though ^^
I'd really like to join, but don't own a pair of scales. There are some at my gym, but I'm working away over the New Year so I won't be there again until 1/02. Can I take a guess based on my last known weight and just have it corrected based on my weight on the second and keep my eyes out for a set of scales in the mean time? Or does that rule me out?
I'm going in on this. I'm down for some downsizing. 2 months ago I was 292, I'm sitting at 272 now, can't wait to see where I get by april.
