I have this sharp pain in my lower bicep, where it meets my forearm. I can do curls but it hurts to do pullups. I have taken a month off, and iced it and its still there. Anyone else have anything like this? Thanks

Not having it anymore, thank goodness. I got a horrible case of tendinitis from doing drop sets every time I would work my biceps, as well as just not resting enough outside of the gym.
Keep on icing, and try eccentric exercise/negative reps. Also try wearing an ace sleeve to see if the compression will alleviate some of the pain.

Hope some of this helps, good luck on your recovery.
I've been getting that lately. When I googled it, I found this thread. I've taken two weeks off, but it's still there. If you stretch, the pain goes away, but pull ups keep resurfacing the pain. Do you still have it? Do you think it could be an extreme case of DOMS?
Thanks,
Mary-Kate

Do this tendonitis protocol:

Basically, a how to guide approach from a physical therapy standpoint.
If it's chronic, which it sounds like, the pain isn't going to go away with just rest. Also, don't reaggravate it with pullups... stay away from them for a bit.
