It's like battling an addiction.. But it sounds like you are depriving yourself and setting standards that are too strict for yourself. If you keep at it with small steps and changes the "binges" will dissipate with time and your gains will flourish.
But yes, jumping from p90x to a solid program [B]should[/B] result in eating more calories. Although, you could not be eating enough carbs.. from which an enzyme known as glucokinase is activated and unleashes the "[I]sweet tooth syndrome.[/I]" These carbs cravings are serious because its humanly impossible to avoid. Make sure you are eating a sufficient amount of [B]complex carbs [/B] and be sure to have a breakfast that's heart with protein. These tips will compensate your appetite while diminishing those cravings. [B]Gluconeogenesis[/B] isn't just a craving for sugar, at least not psychologically.
