Linebacker to safety?
I am 5'7" 142. I played lb this past season and saw ok playing time and enjoyed it. But i'm wondering about my sophmore season. I will probably be around 5'9" 155. Should I make the switch? I may be small but I tackle solidly. Just worried that size will be an issue. I run a 40 in 5.4 seconds. which is pretty average.

Don't worry about your position right now. Focus on eating right and working hard. Your position will come once your body develops.

^^ cant say it any better, just lift with upper class men and train hard as you can! you will know your position by your jr, sr year

Play where you're needed. At 14 and your size, you've got some developing to do. Good advice on lifting with more experienced guy, too.
